Situated in Laval, this attractive condo for $246 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This apartment is surrounded by restaurants, cafés, shopping, theaters, and so much more. You will not need a car unless it is extremely cold outside. Free street parking can be found at times. A better option is the lot located 5 min away @ 400 rue de Malines ($21/night - subject to change). Le Metro Sherbrook is 5 min walk away. Taking the subway is the easiest and cheapest way to get around Montreal to avoid traffic and parking tickets. Taxis or Uber are easily found in Montreal. Other notes: - There are 15 stairs to climb on the outside staircase and another 20 inside before reaching the apartment. - This apartment has 1 indoor camera located in the entrance foyer (facing the front street door for break-in prevention only.) No live feed and no view inside the apartment. There is also a camera downstairs, in the service staircase, facing the door opening to the back lane. Again, this is for break-in prevention only. Lastly, there are 2 cameras in the storage area of the basement (which is not meant to be accessible to guests) to prevent theft. - You will be asked to provide your email, phone number, and a copy of an ID on our secure platform once the booking is confirmed by VRBO. - Anyone under the age of 21 not accompanied by a parent will need to provide the parent or legal guardian's consent in writing. - No 3rd party reservation will be accepted. The person making the reservation must be present at check-in. - Visitors and additional guests are not permitted on the premises unless prior approval has been granted by the owners. - Non-smoking policy: Cigarettes and cigars are tolerated only if smoked OUTSIDE. Everyone having their own en suite bathrooms was SUCH a game changer. Made our stay so much more comfortable that we could all retreat for a bit to relax when needed, and the common spaces were also great for hanging out. Very cute neighborhood with lots of great restaurants in walking distance, and we loved the coffeeshop on the corner. Definitely recommend!

My family of four adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is extremely clean and very well appointed. Each bedroom has an ensuite bath and the spa showers were a highlight! We loved the location - a charming and safe neighborhood with so many terrific restaurants. We didn't use any of the three (!) coffee makers in the kitchen because it was so nice to walk to a coffee shop for a delicious latte and croissant.
Two standouts that I feel are worth mentioning: the digital guidebook thoughtfully created by the hosts was incredibly helpful for us in planning our visit. Loads of really good info and we referred to it often before and during our vacation. Every property has some sort of binder to flip through once you check in, but to have a comprehensive "app" on your phone that is easy to navigate is a step above what I would expect from a host. Frederique, the host, was prompt in answering my questions. She reached out to make sure everything was satisfactory and we appreciated that. While we didn't need any assistance during our stay, we felt at ease knowing she was reachable at any time.
Overwhelmingly positive, this is the type of vrbo experience that I will measure future bookings against.

From the attractive listing that caught my eye initially, to the attentive communication with our hosts, right through the check-in and arrival process, everything was top-shelf, completely accurate, and just fabulous.
The apartment is divine, modern and spacious, and well appointed - four large bedrooms with bathrooms en suite, generous kitchen and living area space (and did I mention the rooftop terrace?!!) - and in a great location. The neighborhood has dozens of restaurants, pastry shops, and grocery and liquor options.
The hosts have put together an electronic guide book that includes information on everything one would ever need to know, and then some... incredibly helpful.
We wanted for nothing! I highly, highly recommend!!

FAB's apartment in the Le Plateau area of Montreal was terrific. There was plenty of room for two couples. The kitchen was well equipped. The location was convenient to Old City, the Museum of Fine Arts, Leonard Cohen mural, markets, etc. Frederique was immediately responsive and very accommodating. The guest book's listings of restaurants and sites was helpful. Thanks for a great stay in a rich and interesting city.

This is a great apartment! Every person in our group made separate comments about how wonderful a place this was. It’s in a great location, walking distance to Old Montreal, Mile End, Mont Royal, etc. There are also lots of local restaurants and coffee shops if you don’t want to go far. The apartment is wonderful, especially the rooftop terrace! If I made one recommendation it would be to have an extra comfy chair in the living room. We were a group of 8 and it would have made it a bit easier to all sit around together, though it wasn’t a big deal.
Communication with the owners was great, with lots of helpful information. We would highly recommend it!! Would definitely stay again next time we are in Montreal!

Everything was great about the property, though we were a bit daunted by the stairs when we first arrived with luggage. The neighborhood was lovely with so many things to do and with the metro so close we spent a lot of time in Vieux Montreal. We had a couple of great walking tours, too. The apartment was a great refuge when we had a long day and just wanted to put our feet up with a bottle of wine and talk about everything we saw.

We had the best time in Montreal on our annual friend trip that we take with 3 other couples. The apartment was spotless, in a great location, and the hosts were communicative and accommodating. It is difficult to find a place with 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms but we seemed to find a unicorn this trip! Highly recommend this property!

My family of 5 (grandma, two adults, two little kids) loved staying here. The location was perfect and the place is bright, clean, and comfortable. On top of that, the property manager was very welcoming and available to help. Also: comfortable beds, great showers and bath, nice kitchen. The only warning - there are quite a few stairs to get up to the unit, so be aware of you have any travelers with mobility issues. That said, lots of status means you are on the top floor with good views and bright sunlight! We have rented hundreds of nights on such sites and this place is way above average. Don’t hesitate - book it today!

We loved it!
We were really surprise when we got in the property! It was beautiful, clean and very spacious. All of us said, that we would absolutely rent this property again the next time we go in Montreal.
There was one little thing that we liked least. The bedroom in the front on the apartment has and old style window and it is not sound proof at all. We could here everything happening outside.

I visited Montreal with 6 friends and we had a wonderful time - the apartment is spacious, clean, and beautiful. It has a great patio area as well. Definitely would recommend!

This truly may have been the best vacation rental property I have ever stayed in.
We visited Montreal last weekend with a group of 15 adults for the Just for Laughs comedy festival and a 50th birthday celebration. Everyone loved it. For our group, we rented both this unit and the 3BR unit downstairs owned by the same landlord. It was ideal for our group of 7 couples and one bachelor. Every bedroom in both units sleep 2 very comfortably and each bedroom has its own full bath. No one has to share.
I was a little skeptical of the size of the flat (4BRs and 4BAs) in 1300 sf (???) and although some of the rooms particularly in the front of the unit are cozy, they are not cramped. Be aware that there may be some city and street noise for the front bedrooms but the bedrooms in the back are very quiet. The living space and kitchen are both well designed and the kitchen was very well outfitted with everything we needed (cooking utensils, coffee machine, small kitchen appliances and plenty of plates and glasses). Our favorite amenity was the new rooftop deck which affords views of the city and mountain and is perfect for a happy hour cocktail or nightcap.
The location in the Plateau is ideal. Montreal is definitely a city to explore on foot and this flat is walkable to everything including downtown, Old Port, Mile End, Little Italy, the mountain. If walking isn’t your thing, the subway is close by and our longest wait for an Uber was about 3 minutes.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the owners’ hospitality. After we booked, they sent us a lengthy guide of their personal favorite spots in the city so that we could plan our time in the city and on our arrival they made sure that we were comfortable and even brought us a little housewarming treat in honor of the birthday celebration. I spoke with Frederique probably 8 months before our trip and she was incredibly helpful. About 2-3 months later, she noticed that I hadn’t booked our stay and she called me to follow up and let me know that weekends were filling up. Her reminder prompted me to make the booking and I am incredibly grateful that she did. If you are even considering this location, I strongly recommend reserving it as I do not believe that there is another property in Montreal that would have served our needs as well. If you stay and don’t like it, it probably means that vacation rentals aren’t for you and you will always be better off in a hotel. Enjoy!
