Situated in Rochester, this charming house for $51 per night is a great choice for your next break. We are located about 1-1.5 miles west of Mayo Clinic. You'll find us located in a beautiful, quiet and secluded neighborhood. We have a private entrance, a staircase and path to your lovely hideaway. The wooded area behind our home has lots of wildlife. It is not uncommon to see deer in the backyard, as many as six at one time! Sometimes a group of turkeys will feed under our deck, you can watch them just outside the windows of your studio apartment. We are often told of how beautiful and peaceful it is here. There is a covered patio and furniture to relax on in the evenings.

I was surprised by the 14 steps down to the apartment, without handrail. Not a big deal for most people, but I’m in Rochester for Mayo to work on my knees. I managed, tho. It’s a very pleasant unit. I felt safe and comfortable there.

Immaculate lodging and friendly host. Beautiful area in Rochester; however, I would stay in a place closer Mayo Clinic. I do not drive so I took a cab which took some time to get back and forth although15 -20 minutes of travel time once the car would arrive. The host was kind enough to take from his place one of the days I spent there, which was very kind of him. The lodging is very quiet and restful. The one major problem with a person with disabilities is the stair case is outside, with several and modestly steep with long and wide steps with a gravel like feeling material and no railing on both sides which could pose a hazard to people with walkers or wheelchair. I was kindly aided up and downstairs by the host which was another point of hospitality I experienced. It would be more of significant hazard to a person in the winter months and with a lot of precipitation. All in all it was a wonderful stay. I would recommend it very highly for persons with no physical or seeing diseases

The hosts were great with communication being on the great side also. The venue was extremely clean and welcoming for our stay. The 30 some turkeys in the backyard was pretty cool ! Overall a terrific stay and if we have to come back will stay here!

This is a peaceful little space in a lovely neighborhood with a convenient location to downtown. My husband was very skeptical of our very first vrbo stay. As soon as we walked in the door he quickly changed his perspective. The backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed our time sitting out on the patio when we had the chance. Greg and Yvonne are excellent. If we get to come back into the area we’ll definitely check the availability here first!!

My husband and I arrived to the Magical Nest after dark. Oh my goodness it was Magical walking to our room down the lit up pathway. We couldn’t wait to see the property when the sun came up. The room was very clean and decorated so nice. The property was gorgeous with flowers and the deer coming through. We seen deer and a Momma Turkey with her babies every day. Greg was very nice and easy to do business with.

I really enjoyed my stay. It worked perfectly well with my mini retreat. I was looking for a place to get away from the my busy life and enjoy some alone time quiet and reflection. The neighborhood was very peaceful and refreshing. I saw some squirrels, and rabits. I went for very long walks. I liked how the apartment in close proximity to everything about 8 mins or less drive. The music choices truely complimented my idea of a retreat. The apartment was beautiful, and had everything I needed. Greg very attentive and quick to respond to my needs. He is a great host. Thank you very much for making my stay comfortable.

It was a great location for us as we visited our family in Rochester area. 5 mins to everything we needed in shopping and Mayo. The historic area near by was really fun to see the older homes being kept up so nicely. My wife and I have knee problems so the steps were a little bit more work but we just took our time and enjoyed the lovely yard and view! Deer, rabbits , turkey welcomed us as well.

My wife and I enjoyed some peaceful downtime after a busy reunion. Great location in a nice neighborhood. We especially liked sitting on the back porch watching deer and squirrels play in the gardens and woods. The hosts make the stay effortless! Highly recommend.

Noticeably clean apartment. Roomy bathroom counter. Comfortable bed, (could use better pillows). We greatly appreciated the bottled water, snacks, and accessibilty to streaming services. Thank you for offering a lovely space at an affordable price.

Traveling to the Mayo Clinic from Alaska is challenging at best! Greg provided a home away from home. The apartment was just what I needed to deal with serious health issues. Clean, private, close to everything I needed. Ten plus rating if possible! I would highly recommend this wonderful property. Thanks Greg!

The “Magical Nest Hideaway” was perfect in every way! Greg made check-in very easy and gave detailed information well in advance. Great location and neighborhood, your own parking spot in the driveway, and such a lovely setting. Inside was clean and comfortable and we had plenty of space for the two of us! Comfy bed and just a peaceful spot to stay! Thoroughly enjoyed it! Would stay again if in the area again!

Cozy spot for one or two with great interior lighting. Wonderful lengthy bathroom countertop to spread out toiletry bags. Small kitchen but included all that we needed. Enjoyed the magnificent large wild turkeys when they strutted across the back yard! Host was very kind and considerate of our privacy.

No WiFi. Toilet had not been thoroughly cleaned from previous guests. Steps from the driveway down the side of the house were loose and treacherous. Did not stay in unit more than 35 minutes. My visit to Rochester was for the Mayo clinic and my wife had to have WiFi for her job. Owner said he would fully refund us but only received a third of the amount charged for our 35 minutes.

The property was exactly as listed. Fully stocked, even with an umbrella which we hadn’t packed. The location was great. It is close to everything we wanted to do but didn’t feel like we were in the middle of the city.

The property has a wonderful back yard. We saw deer esting there. It's a nice and quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe there. Things were very neat and clean. I would stay there again.

We were in Rochester , MN for an appointment at the Mayo Clinic. Not the best reason to have to take a trip, but our stay at this studio was truly amazing. Clean, comfortable, great location, and every thing one would need right on site. Would highly recommend a stay at this property whether traveling for fun, work, or other.

We were super impressed with the communication and great hospitality. The neighborhood was quiet safe and peaceful. We spend a lot of time on the patio overlooking a private beautiful backyard. The room met all of our needs and was super clean. We were in town to ride the bicycle trails and he even let us put our bikes in the garage. Great value great stay-We plan on staying here on our next visit to Rochester. Thanks for having us-
