About this condo rental
Situated in Garden City, this lovely condo for $290 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Stunning updated ocean front views await you in this spacious, 1180 sq ft immaculate two-bedroom, two and a half bath corner unit suite, biggest of the 2 bedroom units in Royal Gardens...a very well maintained building located only .7 miles from the Garden City Pier. Each of the bedrooms features its own en suite bathroom. Suite 715 is the larger than most of the 2 bedroom units available in Royal Garden Resort. It offers a fully equipped kitchen with new quartz countertops, new backsplash,newer appliances, including dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen island has seating in addition to a full dining area, a large living room with private balcony providing stunning beach and ocean views, a washer/dryer, air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room. Sleeping accommodations include a queen-sized bed in primary oceanfront bedroom and a queen-sized bed in second bedroom, plus a couch with a pull out queen-sized sofa bed. There are 3 smart TVs (cable) and free Wi-Fi are in the suite. The corner bedroom bathroom was completely remodel in Dec 2021 which now has a walk in shower. New bedroom furniture in 2022 with new mattress in September of 2023. All rentals include linens and towels as part of the cleaning fee so you can come in and start your vacation right away. We also provide coffee, filters, creamers, basic condiments, soap, toilet paper, paper towels and laundry detergent/ In addition to a thorough cleaning of the unit, we are disinfecting all surfaces prior to any guests arrival. The elevators areas on first three floors now have hand sanitizer stations keeping with Covid guidelines. The common area features include an indoor pool and outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, kiddie pool, the The Salty Pickle bar and restaurant, covered parking, and three elevators. Parking passes are limited to two per unit. Linens and towels are included to make your transition to relaxation easier. Royal Garden Resort is conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Other attractions include Marlin Quay Marina, Gulf Stream Cafe, Original Sam's Corner, and Sara J's Seafood Restaurant. Just south of Garden City Beach is Murrells Inlet, a seaside community that is considered to be the "Seafood Capital of South Carolina", but is also home to some of the nation's best golf courses. Once primarily a fishing village, the town is best known for the Murrells Inlet MarshWalk, a half-mile long boardwalk overlooking a pristine salt marsh, and the many award-winning seafood and barbecue restaurants along Highway 17 Business in the central business district. Brookgreen Gardens, a sculpture garden and wildlife preserve built on four former rice plantations, is located slightly south of Murrells Inlet. It features several themed gardens with American figurative sculptures placed in them, trails through several nature reserve ecosystems and the Low Country Zoo. Ready to shop? There are so many places to shop, Inlet Square Mall, The Market Common, Coastal Grand, Myrtle Beach Mall, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, two Tanger shopping outlets, countless strip-malls, and many more shopping facilities are all within an easy drive from Garden City Beach. Looking for some entertainment? Take in a show at Alabama Theater, Medieval Times, The Carolina Opry, Pirates Voyage, and Legends in Concert. This condo is as spacious and private as it looks in the listing. The ocean views were amazing as was the easy access to the beach. The balcony is large and private.The entire condo was clean and comfortable. Hosts were quick to reply, easy to communicate with, kind, and gracious. We plan to book this same property next year.

We've stayed in the Royal Garden Resort a few times. This is a wonderful (large) condo. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. Very clean and very nice furnishings. Property owners were great, easy to get a hold of.

We had a wonderful stay! You cannot get closer to the ocean! Unit was clean and special touched like the welcome bag and kindly stocked staples in the fridge and pantry.

If this review was based on the unit alone, I would’ve gave it a 4.5. Owners were easy to deal with, unit was well-stocked, clean, and decorated nicely. Only downside was a frequent sewer gas smell coming up from the disposal.
If you are just coming to hit the beach or visit around the Grand Strand, this is a good spot. If you are interested in the other amenities associated with the unit, a few things to be aware of:
1.) There is limited parking available for “oversized” vehicles meaning cars with rooftop carriers or trucks/SUVs. This can make it challenging if you want to leave.
2.) The grounds have a lot of deferred maintenance and need a lot of repair and cleanup. There was almost always something including HVAC repairs, elevators down, concrete repairs, broken outdoor showers, broken gates.
3.) There is no real monitoring of who is “supposed” to be on the property. As a result, there are A LOT of public beach goers using the bathroom, pool, and pool deck as well as frequenting the dive bar on the first floor.
4.) As a result of #3 above, the grounds get downright nasty by midday. The poolside bathrooms get invested with flies, salt water, and nastiness. The pool was downright disgusting, and there was trash everywhere.
I don’t want to overly penalize the unit owners since it’s probably out of their control, but I feel it’s fair to mention for any potential vacationers.

Fyi there is no Keurig in the unit. Also the hot tub was cold never heated. Elevators were always being worked on. Only one elevator was working at a time. We saw someone who said she comes yearly and the elevators are always being worked on. Nice unit, nice beach. No complaints about the unit itself

Just like posted. Clean,comfortable great views. The condo was decorated very nice and beachy. All of the little things were a great touch right down to the new toothbrush. We were si impressed we booked again for next year.

We had a fantastic time staying at Linda and Nick’s condo! Everything was super clean and the views were breathtaking! The beach right outside the complex has some of the softest sand I have ever felt and our kids LOVED making sand castles and playing catch in the surf.
We had one minor issue with the AC when we arrived and Linda and Nick were quick to respond. Thankfully, it was an easy fix!
We highly recommend Linda and Nick’s condo and we hope that we are able to return soon!

We stayed 3 months in this beautiful condo and enjoyed the benefits of having a corner unit, the great view from the balcony, and daily walks on the beach. The condo is well stocked and the furniture is comfortable. Linda and Nick have gone above and beyond to give their guests everything they might need. They responded immediately to any questions we had. We’ve also stayed in their one bedroom unit in the same complex and it was equally enjoyable. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

This is a fabulous property! An elevator takes you to the 7 th floor condo with a beautiful view of the beach! The beach is flat and easy to walk. There is a ton of bird life so bring your binoculars. Nearby is a Kroger and many delicious restaurants to choose from. We went to the Alabama Theater’s Christmas Show which was excellent-top notch talent! Linda made the check in easy and could be reached if you had any questions. I highly recommend this property and hope to be back soon!

Our family of 4 loved this beautifully appointed, immaculate and roomy oceanfront condo. The owners were quick to respond to any questions, plus they thought of everything - from the most well-equipped kitchen we’ve ever seen to the closet full of beach chairs, boogie boards and toys. There was even a little welcome bag that included snacks, bottled water and a gift for our 9-year-old grandson. We loved the large heated indoor pool and the spacious balcony overlooking the beach. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was also very helpful. We highly recommend this condo and hope to stay there again in the future as well.

We were scheduled to check-in on the day Hurricane Ian hit the area. We delayed our arrival by one day. Linda was very helpful in keeping us updated on access to the condo. Once we were able to access the property on Sat night, the rest of the trip was very relaxing. The unit is well stocked with everything you need to enjoy the unit, the beach, and the surrounding area. Great location with easy access to surrounding area.

We had a great time staying at this condo. It has been one of the nicest one's that we have ever rented in the Garden City area. The condo was very clean and exactly like the pictures. The view from this condo is wonderful, love the angled view so much! You got to see the entire beach not just straight ahead when sitting out on the balcony. We will definitely stay here again. Also, we loved that the condo has items already; love the concept of leaving items for the next guest that are not used or needed to be taken with. The beds were very comfortable and Linda was wonderful to work with. We thank you for letting us stay in this wonderful condo.

Couldn't have asked for a better location and everything was very clean and ready upon our arrival. The rooms were very comfortable and exactly as pictured in the listing. The balcony was awesome, and we even saw dolphins on several days during our stay. There was small hiccup with the internet, but communication with the property manager helped come to a solution.

We loved the location and the TLC that was given to this unit. From the cleanliness to the care package that was left behind by the owner. The pier was close enough to walk and enjoy some live music, the arcade and shopping. The owner was so accommodating. Our only challenge was the elevator, however, a little planning and it was ok.

This was truly a home away from home. The views were spectacular, and the entire condo just felt like home. Several little amenities such as extra toothpaste, bandaids, salt, etc., were such a thoughtful notion! The bedding was comfy and the decor was tasteful. You could really feel the love. We will for sure return for another stay here next time.
