Beautiful little cottage in such a quiet location, but ideal for us as we needed to be based in Bamburgh for several nights (my partner was in a 100 mile race from Bamburgh to Edinburgh). Lovely comfortable bed. Cosy accommodation. Wonderful shower.
I felt the kitchen could be a little better equipped - only 2 'normal' wine glasses and they were different sizes, limited amount of cutlery which was not very strong. A teapot would have been nice. I also felt that a small supply of kitchen roll, washing up liquid (there was some but I think a previous guest had left that), a washing up sponge (no dishwasher so washing up by hand) - generally I felt the price we paid might have included some basic items such as these. Also, the weighing scales and one of the TV remotes had flat batteries. We had no information about recycling although once I had located the bins in the grounds, it became clear what could be recycled and where. Some shower gell, shampoo and soap in the bathroom would have been nice too - to accompany the lovelly bath towels and fabulous shower.

Good location, very peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Comfy sofa and bed.
Unclean and rundown. Lots of mould, cobwebs, dead bugs, clearly not cleaned and maintained properly which is unacceptable for the price. Bathroom stank of eggs from the drains which was made worse when emptying kitchen sink. Many things mentioned in guest book time and time again such as TV remote having empty batteries and still not replaced. I wouldn't stay again.
