The location was great. Near my destination, fuel station, interstate and fast food options

Front desk gal was professional, but less than friendly. The hotel in general was not clean interior or exterior. Hall had a very bad food odor. Cigarettes littered the parking lot, stairway floor covered in muddy footprints during my entire stay. I did not get the requested 1st floor, but a 2nd floor room with a door that didn't lock. After being told they didn't have any other rooms I waited for a supervisor and or maintenance member to address the issue. I was then given a front facing room that was not as clean as the 1st room. Room 229 seemed lived in, hole in bathroom door, cuts in chair, food or ??? dried on walls, spills dried on floor. Terribly hard and warn mattress atop of a platform metal frame bed. As a back sleeper, this made sleeping very uncomfortable. By night three my lower back and tailbone hurt do bad I woke at 3:30 and got ready to check out. Shower head barely allowed decent water flow for washing/rinsing my long hair. Overall I will rethink staying here a 3rd time.
