Lots of traffic congestion thru Reno…elevators not in good working order during an event

Our check-in experience was great and easy. The front desk staff were friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. The only issue with the room was that the shower water did not drain properly.

Unfortunately, our experience at the pool was very upsetting. I took my kids to the pool, where another family was also there. Their toddler was repeatedly splashing hot water on people, even after being asked to stop. He was also running in and out of both pools. Later, the two women from that family became hostile toward me, accusing me of staring at them when I was actually looking for my son in the other pool. They began name-calling and threatening me and my children, and at one point they started charging toward me as if they wanted to fight. A towel attendant eventually stepped in and told them to leave. Before that, it felt like the situation was being allowed to continue without intervention. Afterward, the women began telling a completely different version of what happened, claiming that I was scaring their children and being rude. What disappointed me most was that not one hotel associate checked on me or my children afterward, and security was not called. I found that very inappropriate, especially with children present. I am not a violent person, and I came to the hotel to enjoy time with my kids—not to be threatened or confronted.
