The views are outstanding. The hotel is located across from a trailhead for Passo Goma / Passo delle Erbe. My room was nice and clean with nice view. The breakfast and dinner excellent. .
The road to it from San Pietro that runs up and over Santa Maddalena is very narrow and curvy. Requires drivers in opposite directions to coordinate passing each other in many cases.

Absolutely stunning location! Breathtaking views. And dog friendly - and easy to take an alone hike above the property with your dog and watch dreamy sunset.
Our bed was very hard, felt like sleeping on hardwood floors.

The views were awesome but I feel the hotel is leaning very heavily on the location and views rather than going that little bit extra to make the stay unforgettable
Some of the staff seemed almost unfriendly. There was limited warmth in the service. We have travelled extensively in the Dolomites and haven’t experienced this kind of d of behaviour before. The junior staff were ok but it was the senior staff that need to put on a smile and brush up on their customer service. The rate one pays to stay here deserves more from the senior staff especially the senior male staff on the restaurant.

Beautiful location just next to lots of walking trails. Gorgeous property and very spacious. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was delicious.
