This home is set in a quiet neighborhood, yet the bustling city of downtown Portland is a short eight-mile drive away! Head into town and experience the eclectic and exciting nature of Portland by meandering around the different neighborhoods and soaking in the culture. Bring the kids along to the Portland Zoo for a fun afternoon or walk along the water after visiting the famous Powell's City of Books! The Hawthorne area offers adorable boutiques and delicious restaurants like Por Qué No! The city is filled with amazing coffee shops as well, so you can't go wrong with simply heading out without a plan each day, as every district offers something different. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 18 years of age to book. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The place was great but didn't go ,because i was in the hospital with Pneumonia . Vrbo would not let me cancel . I was in the hospital . So I let my son use it . I will spread the word far and wide ,that vrbo is the worst ever

It was dusty and I’m allergic to dust. The kitchen sink didn’t work,and was dirty. The bbq grill outside was dirty. It was cold hard to adjust the thermostat. People upstairs and cleaning outside while we were there. It has a beautiful view but lots of things to improve before people get there.

It’s a beautiful house with an incredible outlook but some of the blinds are broken, the screen door is broken and a few other items. There is no information about the house or neighborhood and we had issues with getting the door code ( although Vacasa staff were very helpful).

This is a five-star property, but we had a four-star experience. The home and location are great. We enjoyed the views of the river, use of the grill and deck. The location is quiet and serene. Unfortunately, the dishwasher had an "out of order" sign on it upon our arrival. Washing dishes by hand was a bit of an inconvenience, especially since there were no dishtowels. We had to use towels from the bathrooms to dry the dishes. The other negative was that the temperature in the bedrooms was significantly colder than in the main part of the house. No matter how we adjusted the thermostat, we could not get the bedrooms to warm up. We stayed for eight days in December, and it was cold and wet outside most of the time. The living room and kitchen were very comfortable. The fireplace was very cozy, but we dreaded going into the bedrooms. It was cold enough to see your breath. The bedding was nice and warm, though, so that made it bearable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, even with these minor inconveniences. We would definitely stay again and have already recommended the property to friends and family.
