Lakeshore Inn

The staff, the setting, the location… it’s all perfect. Walking distance to shops, food, entertainment, plus the closest hotel Lewis & Clark and the gorgeous Tryon State Park. Although the setting of the property is a park itself! Get a room with a lake view if you can, you can rank me later!

Breakfast isn’t really breakfast. The coffee is fantastic and when there are pastries they are delicious! Luckily there are several wonderful places to eat close by.

Spacious room with separate bedroom, deck overlooking Lake Oswego. $25 pet fee. Cute basket with dog supplies (dishes, blankets, etc) Friendly staff. Great location to "downtown" Lake Oswego. Elevator was helpful when bringing luggage to my 2nd floor room. Nice areas to take walks along the lake.

Hot water in shower seemed to cool fairly quickly. Only one caffinated coffee pack in the room over 2 days. (I'm sure I could have gotten more at the front desk, but had thought it would be replenished and room serviced after 1st night of 2 night stay. Protesters in public square nearby caused a lot of honking on Saturday. Remodeling underway (March, 2026)... which will be a good thing when completed! Bathroom could use a bit more shelving or places for toiletries.

Amazing location on the lake in the center of downtown Lake Oswego. Rooms are a great value as they have a spacious living area with kitchen which is separate from the bedroom.

Room was very clean and quiet

20 minutes after I booked this room I found the confirmation email and text which I responded to asking if the room had a view for that price. It was well over $200 with tax. I had looked at the booking.com listing and nowhere on there could I find that the room didn’t have a view of the lake. Which was the whole point of my staying there. So 20 minutes later when I contacted by text the staff, they informed me that this room did not in fact have a lake view. Since it had only been 20 minutes since my booking, I could get my money and cancel the room. I had wanted a view. They said absolutely not. They would be charging me for one night and taxes. Because I had said I would like to cancel if it doesn’t have a lake view, they immediately canceled my reservation and charged me for the night. When I asked them to please refund me or give me the room back they said I would have to rebook a new room, thereby paying a second time for the one night. We went back-and-forth and the person was absolutely trying to be difficult. There was no question. In the end after much pleading, they said they would reactivate the reservation after saying they could not do that. It was an absolutely frustrating experience and I had to stay there so as not to lose my money. No Lakeview. Abysmal service. I still can’t even believe it. I will never stay there again and be shouting from the rooftops that nobody else do either. It was the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. This was from the person dealing with text not the nice lady at the front desk.
