Cain is the best. And the LA CASONA DE PALMIRA is perfect. The staff is welcoming, the food is amazing, the rooms are quaint...cute, clean, the beds are really comfortable. Nothing but good things to say about Palmira and Cain.

We stayed here before our three day hike in the picos and it was the perfect choice in terms of location and friendly staff. The property let us leave our suitcases with the stuff we didn’t need for the hike while we were gone. Parking was also easy

I want to say nothing. That way you won't go and it will remain a secret. BUT that wouldn't be fair on the 'Patron'. This place is amazing, it says it's a 1 star hostel but I have stayed in 3star hotels that are not this good. The location, our room, the food, the service all were stunning.
Simple: leaving. We could easily spend a week here. Too many people hike in, stay the night and leave. It deserves much more of your time than that.
