About this house rental
Located in Marathon, this lovely house for $419 per night is a great option for your next break. Come and live the KeyZ life for the week or the month! Gorgeous home just off the open water on a deep water canal gulfside. This is a boater/fishing paradise with 60 feet of docking space, deluxe fish cleaning station located on the gulfside! Relax poolside at our signature swimming pool/tiki bar with flat screen TV. We have 5 bedrooms, 4 baths. 1 Master suite is on the ground floor, 1 Master suite on the second floor, 2 Queen Bedrooms, and a Bunk Bedroom! Fully equipped kitchen! Refreshing Salt water pool, tiki outdoor bar-paradise awaits! 2 Kayaks and 1 Paddle Board! 60 foot long Dock! Description of the second floor bedrooms: The 2 queen bedrooms on the 2nd floor are separated by a hallway. There is a hallway the accessed both bedrooms and also accesses a bathroom as well. There is a pocket door that can access the hallway on one side and there is a normal swing door that can access the hallway from the other side. The bedroom at the end of the hallway is entered through a swing door that is directly from the hallway. None of the queen bedrooms need to be accessed by walking thru one another The only bedroom that needs entered is the bunk room which must be entered thru the master Pool Heat for a fee

Me and my adult children just spent a week in the keys and rented this amazing house. It had sufficient space for everyone. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was stocked well. It was great being right on a canal where we got to see manatees everyday, they were awesome. They loved drinking fresh water from the hose. The neighborhood is quiet but we were still able to play music and be out by the pool at night without bothering anyone. I would say the only thing we weren’t thrilled about but it did not impact our fun is that the pool does not get sun. It’s winter so that might be the reason for that. But there is plenty of deck space and chairs for laying in the sun. Overall fantastic experience and would recommend

We brought our kids and grandkids down for the week and this property was perfect for us.There was a large area for parking including room for our boat trailer. The kitchen has plenty of space, lots of cabinets and small appliances that made it easy to feed a crowd. The tiki bar is festive and made a great place to serve food and drinks while the kids swam in the pool. The mini fridge came in handy along with the pool toys. We were very thankful (and pleasantly surprised) for the pool towels. We caught mangrove snapper off the dock, and the kids were eager to see the manatees swim by daily. This home had more "extras" than other places we've stayed and we can't wait to go back.

It was very spacious . Lots of Linens , which was a plus. Two frig’s and a bait freezer was very nice. Nice washer snd Dryer. One of my complaints, not enough receptacles in the kitchen. The step down was a little hazardous, overall it’s a very nice place. I didn’t like paying it all upfront, I wouldn’t do that again. Thank you for a great time.

The place was clean and we had a wonderful time. One thing everyone should know is that the bedroom with the bunk beds is located through the master bedroom. We had our adult son with us anticipating that he would take the room with the bunk beds and just sleep on the bottom bunk. Did not realize he would need to be practically in our room with us. Also the shower in the master bedroom is in desperate need of repair. Other than that everything else was as it should be and we enjoyed our vacation.

Fabulous home on waterfront canal. Pool was great. Outside area left enough room for everyone. Amenities were many. There was plenty of room for our group. Having so much room made it easy for us to share family dinners which was important to us. Many many wonderful memories made this year and we feel lucky to have found this house.

Multi generational family on weeklong vacation. Very roomy for all 9 of us, very clean and nicely decorated. Comfy beds. Beautiful new floors!

This was our second stay & planning a third. Location is great! Love the tiki bar, pool, & being on the canal. Many manatee sightings, even more than last year. Home description lists as 5 bedrooms which is true but the one with bunk beds is very small & can only be accessed thru 2nd floor master bedroom. This year we drove down in motorhome & there was plenty of room to park it & our 3 rental cars. Also rented 2 boats & more than enough room to tie them up in the canal. Highly recommend this home

This house works out very well for us. It was clean when we arrived. There was enough area plowed out for all 4 of our trucks and trailers. Thanks for that we appreciated this. We’ve been staying here 5 or 6 years now. And started to prep for next year. Thank you for providing this property to rent.

We had a group of 8 friends and we picked this house because it looked like it would be a place we’d all enjoy. It did not disappoint! We loved the secluded pool and to be able to dock our boat next to the house. The tiki bar was a hit and we spent every night out there relaxing. There is the flight path above, but it didn’t bother us.

Home was well stocked with towels, appliances, dishes, etc.
Didn’t realize home was on the flight path of nearby airport, difficult to put kayaks and paddle boards in canal, and not much of a view. Near stores, marina, etc. Pool heater not working when arrived. Owner replaced unit within 3 days.
Beds were comfortable but pillows were pretty thin. Roomy home that accommodated us all.
Daily manatees in canal. They loved fresh water.

We enjoyed everything this property had to offer from the space to the location. Everything was well kept and clean with great responsiveness from the host to any questions we had. Would definitely rebook this property in the future.

The house was very clean and perfect for what we needed. The one bedroom being through the upstairs master was expected and just as described in the description of the house and it wasn’t bad having someone in there. The location of the home is in a good area just minutes from my favorite restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend this vacation house.

All TVs worked including one outside at the bar. The only problem was with hot water heater on Friday, we had no hot water
This was addressed right away. I would stay here again and would recommend it, however, for our next trip to Marathon we will be looking for a smaller place. Beth, please get back to me with smaller houses 2 bedroom for 3. Or 4 people

So many issues. Here are a few we experienced. Upon checking in at 4pm people were removing a ping pong table. We contacted Beth to see what was going on and apparently the table was rotten per the last guest and it was being dumped. Beware of the Bunk Bed Room – this is not “Located down a hall way behind Master”, it is actually a converted closet in the master bed room with access through the master.
Beth was responsive but not helpful. For example, Ice maker didn’t produce ice. We contacted Beth, who stated ‘”it won’t be able to be fixed this week – maintenance company takes vacation this week every year due to lobster season.” She offered to reimburse us for ice. Concerning that if anything goes wrong during the most popular week in the keys (mini season), you are on your own with this rental.
Other issues we had. The stove is old and a knob missing, coffee maker burner was 100% rusted. We stayed in the master – the fan was covered in 3/8s of an inch of dust, the shower is unfinished, with mold that was enough to get caught under my nail, the bathroom vents had mold on them, and the mattress is well past its life span. The cabinets in the master bathroom and kitchen are peeling. Living room window wouldn’t shut leaving a 1-inch gap with no screen letting mosquitos in. Also, the yard had trash on the ground and landscape debris everywhere that we picked up and piled up.
What topped it off was the internet going out. I notified Beth who stated she “will call Comcast in the morning”. Beth never followed up with me so I contacted Xfiniti myself. After being on the phone for about an hour in the morning (when I should be lobstering on the 1st day of Mini), I was able to get a tech out that day. Another person in our party had to stay behind and deal with the rep. After telling Beth about the appointment, at no time did she offer to wait for the rep.
You will have to resolve any issue yourself, even though you are on vacation paying good money to stay here. This home has so much potential, unfortunately no one is putting in the time or money to bring this very dated house up to date and sufficiently clean it.

We met the grounds keeper during our visit and he was so incredibly nice and gave us great tips on some places to try!!! We would totally do this trip again!!!’

Would definately come back
Property needs & little sprucing & maybe a little more detailed cleaning. It’s listed as a 5 bedroom but be aware that one of the rooms is very small with bunks & shares it’s entrance & bathroom with upstairs master. There is no outside entrance to balcony so you have to go thru master bedroom to access. Dressers in some of the bedroom had broken drawers & knobs so had to be careful when using. Pool was a pluse & glad we paid extra fee to have heated. Had 10 adults in our group. Lots of room so you never felt like you couldnt find a quiet space to relax. We had a very nice time & hope to come back one day.

Within 30 minutes the host had organized another place for our large group of 7 adults to stay for the night so that our home for the week could be cleaned and ready by 10am the next morning. Beth even covered our dinner out since we were inconvenienced. The local manager was responsive with bringing additional cleaning supplies needed for the week.
Once things were set right we had a great week. The location was just right for our rented boat to have quick access to the Gulf for our excursions to both the ocean and Gulf sides.
The heated pool and outdoor deck were perfect for relaxing after busy days of snorkeling and fishing.
On the downside, some of the furniture, flooring, and kitchen equipment are worn.
The home is perfect for large groups with multiple families but with all adults, the room with the bunk beds is hard to use since it is accessed through the largest bedroom/bath upstairs.

A great gathering space...
Our group of 11 enjoyed our stay. The main level and the backyard pool/patio were fabulous for hanging out as a group. We loved fishing from the canal and watching the pelicans and the manatee. Great memories were made.

It’s the middle key so close enough to spend a day in Key west also.
The house was perfect for us in size and location.

There was a variety of activities available for everyone; ping-pong, corn hole, kayaking, fishing from sea wall and of course sitting poolside. Bugs were out and biting;, just expect it. We had a boat for the week and you’re very close to some great spots.
