Loved the design, how spacious and clean it was. Great place to stay in the centre of Nijmegen right near cafes, restaurants and shops but very quiet. The airconditioning was great during the hot night. We also liked the fact that it had a little kitchen.
Initially I was worried about the steep stairs and I wouldn't recommend using them with small kids but there's another bedroom downstairs with two comfortable beds. I got used to the stairs after taking them a couple of times.

I loved having the balcony to sit out on, The room was clean, comfy and it was nice to have a decent bathroom and shower.

Nice location in the city center, with plenty of food options around. Very friendly host, to coordinate arrival time and check-in process.
Rooms sit above an ice cream parlour, and are accessible through the backdoor and a narrow stairs. For people who aren't firm sleepers, I can imagine that the rumour from the square in front of the hotel can disturb sleep.

The location is good, right in the heart of the walking district. As for a “hotel,” it looks to me more like three rooms for rent above the ice cream/coffee shop.
The nice young woman who met us clearly has little experience dealing with guests. For example, she said to text her if we have any questions, but she did not know the text number. She said someone will be here about 8:30 or 9 in the morning. Beware of a long, steep, narrow flight of stairs up to the room. Also, the bathroom was so dark my husband could not see to shave.
