We stayed three nights for a youth climbing competition at the DAV Kletterzentrum and the hotel worked very well as a base. Spacious, clean, modern room with a very comfortable bed and a good shower; the side facing the field is really quiet. The room had a fridge, a microwave and a simple capsule coffee machine, which is a real help when you travel with a young athlete and need your own food before early competition mornings. Excellent value for money. The REWE supermarket is in the same building and the Ihle bakery-café downstairs is open even on Sunday morning. Tram 3 is a two-minute walk and all regional trains to Munich stop at Haunstetterstraße, so you never need to go to the main station. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful.
Two small things. The hotel has recently been renamed, and the sign at the street entrance still shows a slightly different name, which confused us for a moment; the door is also locked and you need to ring the intercom to be let in, so a clear sign with the current name and a short note on how to enter would help. And there is no kettle in the room — a fridge, microwave and coffee machine are there, but a kettle for tea or instant porridge was missing.

The location is great and the parking facility. The room is comfortable and clean and definitely good value for money.
I’m not sure what the protocol is regarding the cleaning of the rooms but I was disappointed that our room was “cleaned” but the desk was not wiped and the floor looked dirty. The Maid opened our room while we were still in bed without knocking.

Great hotel, reasonable price, good parking. Gym and shopping on the site.

The suite was spacious. But the noise from the gym would shake the room all day and into the evening.
