The house itself is adorable, has lots of character and has been nicely remodeled. However, the neighborhood is run down (as is most of Vicksburg these days). There were a few common amenities missing such as a hair dryer and iron. The house is an old shotgun house split into two levels. You can hear everything in the other part of the house so noise can be an issue if someone is staying in the other unit. The noise level from the street and downtown bars can also be heard through the windows. It was quite loud at night. As I stated before, the house itself is cute but due to some of the issues stated and the rundown neighborhood, I give it a 3/5. I don’t know if I’d stay here again.

The location was perfect and right around the corner from downtown. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Communication with the owner was great and she had some awesome recommendations on where to eat and things to do.

Place was easy to find coming from the highway into downtown. Once we got in it was decorated with a mix of the past and present which was cool. Everything we needed was there and we appreciated the recommendations that we got for dinner the 10 South rooftop bar and grill which was close by on Washington Street. And it was close by to Points of interest like the Vocksburg National Military Park. Enjoyed it all.

The property was by style and appearance was a 100 year+ home that has been renovated extensively and attractively. There are two bathrooms that have over the top overhauls. The decor is part reclaimed materials at one extreme and a 20+ cubic foot French Door refrigerator at the other end. In between is a bit of everything else. The location is as good as it gets with restaurants and museums in abundance within easy walking distance.

There are some communication issues checking in, andI don't know at whose in. they were. But Remy was on the spot helpful and got it fixed quickly. It's a very nice place, as pictured and an easy, if hillycentral Vicksburg. Vicksburg. Remy knowledgeable and helpful about local eatinv, educational, and cultural activities. I'm originally from the general area and still pass through Vicksburg periodically. I literally ask her if it was for sale-the highest compliment. Her love for the property & community shows.

This vrbo was clean, well-appointed, and very well located - we walked to every 'Must See' site (probably a good 12-15 in two days) except for the National Military Park. We also enjoyed having 2 full bathrooms at our disposal. A repeat, for sure!

House was redone very nicely. Great location, close to some of the best restaurants in Vicksburg. We loved the views of the river as the sun was going done. We will be back!! Owner was very friendly and responds quickly to all inquires.

Husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Vicksburg, wonderful location , we walked to the old Court house a must if your in town, so much to see, Had the most amazing dinner and local beer at 10 south Rooftop Bar and Grill views were awesome and you can walk to it from Remy’s place..also bought local Art at the Attic Gallery owner was so nice and the woman that works there.( I could of stay there a lot longer) also went to a consignment shop lots of fun, the tomato place, and toured McRaven Home a must also if you come to town, we really enjoyed it., also Vicksburg National Military Park....Remy and her husband have done a remarkable job bring back to life this amazing home, and I say home not house because that is what we felt the moment we stepped into the door. Anyone that rents will love it and the location to everything! It makes me a little sad we have to go home we enjoyed our stay so much . And the sunset from our window and porch where some of the best We have ever seen. True JOY
