We stayed when the town water main broke, so we had no water in the rooms. The break was not the hotel's fault, but they could have communicated better. The problem was the door keys. One room in our group - they (and the hotel staff) could not get any key to work, so they had to change rooms. Then all the rooms in our group had key issues. We were suppose to stay 2 nights, but checked out after 1 night. After 24 hours, we still had no idea if we would have water in the rooms.

This hotel was very conveniently located near the highway and the battlefield. Check-in personnel was very pleasant. Our room was very clean and spacious.

Extremely loud music coming from the room next door the Whole Night until around 8A.M and this room appeared to be used by staff members. The exit door next to that room was propped open so they could go in and out to smoke and being on the ground floor this would allow anyone off the street to enter. We were given an adaptive room which was not specified in the reservations. The bathroom had very old fixtures with rusting metal and dirty grout. Bed was very comfortable. Food at breakfast was minimal.

Not very impressed. We did a quick stay on the way to Dallas. Our room was filthy. It was late so we didn't ask to switch. Even if we wanted, we couldn't find anyone at the front desk. We went down to get an extra blanket 3 times and no one was there. Bathrooms were gross. The breakfast was cold and tasted off. There wasn't anyone attending it at the time so several things were out and weren't being replenished. For the price paid, I wouldn't stay here again.

AC/Heater does not work. The front desk was unable to give me another room or even discount my stay for the inconvenience. I’ll never stay here again!!!

The reception was good and the room was clean and ready. The problem was the next day for breakfast. It was not ready or not available, 8 am! No waffles, or sausage as mentioned on the menu. The eggs came out later. They may have run out of inventory, really?

How do I get a total refund? I paid for a place to sleep--but that did not happen! There was a school basketball team on our floor--they ran in and out and slammed doors ALL NIGHT!! I called the front desk (the room's phone was broken so I had to use my cell phone) several times to no avail. I went into the hallway several times to ask the students to quiet down---no cooperation!! My wife and I considered moving to a nearby hotel but that is difficult to do in the middle of the night for senior citizens--especially when it poured rain all night. In addition--there was NO HOT WATER!! Slightly tepid water is tough during a cold winter night for a shower! I will contest the charge on my CC and request a full refund!!

It was a really quiet stay. The staff was great but the breakfast was not the most pleasant experience and when you call the front desk you never get a answer, i tried for two days. Other than those two things it was a very pleasant experience.

The location was fine and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was decent. I had two rooms and in one of the rooms the top comforter was stained. We requested another one it was stained as well. The curtain rod was broken and the bathroom was not clean upon check-in. We got in so late that we did our own housekeeping with the Lysol and Clorox wipes we packed. The doors in both rooms with not close properly the floors were not level. Additionally the TV in room 301 had a line in the middle of the screen. We were in town for a funeral and once we returned from the funeral home were informed that the hotel did not have any running water. We had to go to a restaurant to use the facilities. This was a huge inconvenience to my family.

I had to reactivate my room key card 3 times, for the 2 nights stat which was a hassle. For the 1st 2 hours after arrival there was no water.

We've been traveling for 2 weeks. Best hotel we stayed in by far. 1. Large, well appointed suite with a terrific layout. 2. Welcoming staff. 3. Good bed and linens 4. Large shower 5. Good quality furniture 6. Central location close to the Vicksburg National battlefield.

We waited over 40 min for the attendant to show up and check us in. Other people came and left. She looked disheveled and wasn’t pleasant and didn’t apologize until later on when we were bringing luggage in. She said she was in the bathroom. I called the number and called the corporate number to try and find someone to help Otherwise, the stay was good

Great stay! SUPER GREAT staff and GM. Very helpful and kind. Thank you! The only downside to this hotel is the design. Doors very heavy and you hear "slamming" throughout the hotel. Gaps in doors let sound into room. Other than that, great room, comfortable and CLEAN.

The room was nice, cold ac, no strange smells. The bathroom had some wear and tear, but was clean. The sheets did not look like they had been changed and the top quilt was dirty.

The room needs to be technologically updated. No USB plugs, loose TV connection, loose electrical sockets, and malfunctioning door lock keycard reader. Had to go to the front desk three times to have our keycards recoded.

We enjoyed staying here for our daughters dance competition. We felt very safe and overall in a great location, just minutes from the convention center. The hotel was very clean and smelled nice. The room was spacious and very clean. No surprises anywhere. Bed was super comfy. We all rested very well. Breakfast was what you would imagine and had everything that you needed. Only recommendation would be possible trays so that moms like me can carry breakfast back to room for the fam while getting ready to leave at such an early time for an event. Other than that very minor suggestion it was great. Price was good for the area and room type. I think this time of year the indoor pool is a winner. It was a very nice pool, we just ran out ot time and didn't get a chance to partake. I think leaving out on Sunday, staffing must have been low, there wasnt anyone to check us out, just a basket that says check out room keys. I was a little anxious not speaking to a person and telling them that I was in fact leaving but common sense kicked in and I knew that they were aware of our departure. The system was also glitching and our room keys were working then not on and off a few times. Thankfully it didnt cause us much trouble but I could see where it would be bothersome to others. Overall we will stay here again and we were very pleased with our stay. Thank you

Staff at front desk was more invested in what was going on with the television in the lobby than getting us checked in. Very soft-spoken…hard to hear over the tv and lobby music. Property is more than adequate. Grateful for a place to rest after a long day of travel.
