Nestled in James Island, this lovely house for $536 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Reservations will receive $250 credit toward beach gear rentals! *applies for stays 3-14 nights only * BR 1: 1 Queen, BR 2: 1 Queen, BR 3: 2 Twins, Sleeps: 6, Private Beach Access, Covered Porch, Remodeled with Coastal Décor, Folly Beach Welcome to Folly Wobble on Folly Beach! This single family home is perfect for families looking to stay oceanfront with panoramic views. Enjoy direct beach access and a full-length oceanfront porch. Quaint home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms to comfortably sleep 6 people. The 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom are on the main level of the home. Kitchen is fully stocked to prepare the family meals and easily gather around the dining room table to dine indoors, or take everything outside to eat or relax at the picnic table on the covered porch. After a day in the sun, rinse off with the hose or outdoor shower, and relax in the hammocks feeling the cool ocean breeze. The 2nd bathroom is a full bathroom located under the house for easy trips from the beach. The unique, downtown area of Folly Beach is about 3 miles away to all beach shops, seasonal markets on select days of the week, live music, Folly Beach Pier for a stroll or fishing, and try one of our many local restaurants. Restaurants here offer everything from low country seafood to pizza to oceanfront, higher end dining. A short distance away from Folly Wobble is the Morris Island Lighthouse beach, which offers a serene beach walk and picturesque lighthouse views. Downtown Charleston is also only a 25 minute drive, which offers world-class dining, historical tours, museums, boutiques, harbor walks along the water, the aquarium, and much more for added entertainment. Neighboring towns of James Island, Johns Island, Mount Pleasant, Isle Of Palms, & Wild Dunes all have something special to offer, whether you are a foodie, into golf, historic sites, or craft brews. Folly Wobble is strictly non-smoking, no pets, and is a family vacation rental. *Kayaks are not for guest use.* Amenities include free Wi-Fi, cable TV, washer, dryer, fully stocked kitchen with modern appliances, central heat and air conditioning, 24-hour emergency on-call staff. No events allowed that exceed the maximum occupancy of the home. Must be 25 years old or older to rent. We hope to see you soon! Please be advised that this property may be impacted by a beach sand renourishment project expected to take place March - September 2024. Temporary disruptions and/or beach closures could occur. We loved our spring break getaway at Folly Wobble! The house was very clean, well-maintained and a perfect size for our family of four. From the beautiful sunrises to the awesome beach weather to the delicious food, fun was had by all :)
Highlights:
- Sunrise from the deck every morning
- Fishing guide: Charleston Charter Fishing (awesome trip catching some monster redfish!)
- Beach walks down to Morris Island Lighthouse
- Yummy dinner at Taco Boy (the BBQ Brisket taco was a fav!)
- Easy day trip to Charleston (Peace Pie ice cream sandwiches are delish!)
The only hiccup (and it's super minor) was that our check-in email specified that the house had a Keurig as the available coffeemaker and so we only packed Kcups for the trip. However, when we arrived, there was a regular drip coffee maker and no Keurig, so we had to make a special trip out to the store to pick up some ground coffee. Again, it wasn't a huge deal, but just an FYI for those heading to Folly Wobble in the near future ;)

Everything that we could have hoped for and more for an amazing beach vacation. Just steps to the beach where we spent most of our time-building sand castles, sea shell hunting, and swimming. We are excited to return next year!

This cozy bungalow has beautiful oceanfront views, especially from the screen porch and seating area. Only steps to the sandy beachfront for nice walks along the shore. We really enjoyed our stay, and would come back! .A kettle to boil water, and loftier bed pillows are just minor suggestions.

Impeccably clean home with gorgeous ocean views. Deck safe for my toddler which was a huge plus, would definitely stay here again! Kitchen well appointed and grill worked well, cooked here every night which was great. Thanks again!
