Exceptional

Stunning tranquil location. Stayed in our own cottage, short stroll to cafes, resturant and walk. Lovely and clean, gorgeous private deck and welcome package. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

We were disappointed.

No breakfast provided. Location was good.

For $350 per night for 3 people, staying 4 nights, and paying a total of $1400, we thought the place was lacking the nicities which usually come with accommodation of this standard. Usually you are provided lovely shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand lotion and candles, but sadly none of these were available. Wood was provided for the fireplace, but not enough and not easily accessible, and the knob on the fireplace was broken and hard to manoeuver. The biscuits provided were out of date. Gina the host was nice, however attention to the finer details is needed. These things really matter when you pay good money for accommodation. They make the difference between a nice stay, and what should have been a very special stay. Diane and Ray Burns and Carolyn Prasser

Comfortable, lovely stay near everything

Comfortable, warm, lovely to be in, a veranda open to the woods, a lovely welcome, basket waiting from Gina, very close to river walks to watch for the amazing platypus, near other walks and the historic town centre, near restaurants/cafes//shops

Thanks to Gina and Malcom’s advice we were fortunate to see a platypus

Perfect! Our hosts were lovely and informative of the local area. It was the most peaceful beautiful accomodation I have stayed. The village is walking distance from Williams Lodge and the cafe and shops are run by lovely staff, I highly recommend a visit to Williams Lodge, you will not be disappointed.

A quiet retreat in beautiful surroundings

Williams Lodge is a beautiful, historic building. It is set in a lovely garden in a charming village. The room had lots of thoughtful touches such as complimentary chocolates. Gina was a great host - very helpful but not intrusive. The perfect place for a reviving retreat.

Fantastic weekend at Williams Lodge

The setting, gardens,pool, lovely hosts who were kind,generous and accommodating. The gardens were quiet and made for a relaxing setting. The continental breakfast was great with many coffee options. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was in walking distance to the shops, cafe and pub.

Very enjoyable. Great place to base yourself as you explore the Tablelands during the day.

It was our second time staying at William Lodge, was so impressed the first time we came back. Great location, short 1 minute walk to centre of town. Very friendly hosts, beautiful room, pool and gardens. Will stay again next time we visit the area.

We wanted a few days away to relax and found that in Yungaburra.

We enjoyed sitting on the back patio in the lush green gardens relaxing and enjoying breakfast. The host Gina was was very pleasant.

Very relaxing and comfortable stay, all walking distance to the village shops.

A basket of goodies was there when I arrived. Additional food was also offered. Very friendly and helpful hosts. A beautiful clean pool, I used every day during my week stay. Off street parking very much appreciated. A very quiet and relaxing place.

The only downside for me was the outdoor seating. Looking very pretty and in keeping with the property, but for me unable to use as it was too uncomfortable. I would have liked the use of an microwave.

Beautiful and Peaceful

Well presented and quiet. Breakfast tray was thoughtful and tasty. Hosts were friendly and had great recommendations on trips and places to eat. Pool was great, bed was super comfy. Will be back for sure.

Beautiful Accommodation with Character in an Amazing Town

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Our room was absolutely beautiful and captured the character of the town. Complimentary breakfast, chocolate and wine was a very pleasant surprise! The town was beautiful and the lakes are amazing! Thank you for an amazing stay - We will be back for sure!
