Spotlessly clean and stocked with everything you could want. Shower and bathroom amazing.
Nothing. Only improvement I could suggest is one of bedrooms could benefit with a bit more storage.

We booked Marion’s ground floor apartment for 3 nights to cycle to the final stage of Tour of Britain road race from nearby Earlston, cycling along back lanes. Then a full days cycling north into East Lothian. Peaceful & safe to cycle everywhere, courteous drivers & friendly neighbours, many of whom we spoke to each day. Access to the back patio to store our bikes safely overnight. Very well equipped kitchen with new oven and 5 gas hob rings. High seated breakfast bar in kitchen with window facing a side street watching early morning dog walkers- more folk to chat to. A delightful comfortable stay in quiet neighbourhood. Thankyou. Rosemary & Andrew, Cumbria.

8 The Loan was wonderful. What we had hoped for and so much more. Spacious, amazing kitchen and bathroom, confortable beds and a peaceful retreat. Perfect outside of Edinburgh but close enough to visit each day of the weekend. Marion, the owner was very responsive and there was excellent communication before, during and after our stay.
