Hotel Eethuys de Wormshoef

Wat een schitterend sfeervol klassiek bruin Hotel. Schone nette kamer met 2 eenpersoonsbedden. Goede bedden en prima sanitair. Het ontbijt is ook prima. Het personeel is vriendelijk en beleefd.

Veel traplopen, ik sliep op de 2e etage, al is dat wel gezond. Ik moest in het begin even zoeken naar de receptie, die is wat verder naar binnen.

De kamer was ruim, schoon en de bedden lagen heerlijk!

The hotel is in an old building that does not provide some of the modern comfort elements (like air conditioning). But the authentic old style provide character to the place and the rooms are spacious and unique in itself: I stayed in an attic room. Combined with good food, a great outside terrace for a drink, and a basic breakfast, it provided everything I needed.

The internet speed over the Wifi could use a little boost.

The staff was nice.

Although the staff was nice, it seemed that they had many younger members of the staff being responsible for the restaurant in the evening. This resulted in very long waiting times, wrong orders delivered, orders forgotten. Although we booked with a institutional card, we were not able to pay with that one in the end, and had to private cards. The breakfast was unfortunately not very high in quality and variety. The rooms are very old, and have a glass door to the main hall where a lot of light is shining into the rooms.
