Communication with the host Vedrana prior to my stay was excellent, and it was also easy on my arrival. I was grateful to be able to store my luggage for a few hours in the morning until my room was ready, and it was very helpful to have an early check-in to my room. The room was spacious, extremely comfortable and very clean. The Deluxe Double Room I stayed in was very quiet too, perfect for an undisturbed sleep each night.
The location of Palace of Dreams Rooms in the heart of the Old Town and within the palace walls was superb. Everything I needed was close-by - plenty of options for casual and formal dining, Spar supermarket a few steps from the door, and easy access to explore the historic palace. Many shops are located in the area but most were closed for the public holiday Saturday and only the more touristy shops were open on Sunday.
I would definitely stay at this property again if I return to Split.
The only issue during my stay was I had difficulty opening the outside access door located at street level when trying to enter the building. I called the host who gave me some advice about how the lock worked. She said I could get help from a staff member at the neighbouring restaurant, which I did. I still struggled with the door lock a few times but I eventually worked out what was required to unlock it.
During business hours the street door is open because it also serves as the entrance door to the art gallery located on the ground floor of the building.

Needs a better water heater in the shower but doesn’t change my opinion about the property, Five Stars!
