The location is amazing! Could not ask for a better location to get to the Vatican, right across from a bar that we frequently visited too - many more bars and restaurants a short walk away. Free snacks and coffee provided.
The power was out when we arrived and there was black mold in the bathroom. Also only a fitted sheet on the bed and a flat sheet to cover.

Perfectly placed! Close enough to historical sites, but in my opinion not as busy as areas around Trévi fountain, pantheon
The toilet had some troubles.

The bed was comfortable, the facilities were clean and the location was great with just a short walk from the Vatican and a restaurant right across the street.
The owner was very hard to get in contact with, in order to coordinate check in times.
They messaged us the day before our stay asking what time we would arrive in which we said 7am. When we landed in Rome, we asked what time the room would be ready, and did not ever receive a response.
We were lucky to have friends staying in the room next to us, so they were able to get in contact with the owner via WhatsApp, in which they told us our room number, where the keys were and that the room was ready etc. We were never told the key code for the door, how to get into the room etc.
If our friends were not staying there as well, we would have been completely stranded as we don’t have WhatsApp to communicate.
