Located in Homosassa, this charming house for $259 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This home built in 2019 is one of the most recognizable homes in Old Homosassa. Directly across from the well known and often photographed twin roosters on Mason Creek this home is located within private protected nature preserve and wetland management lands. It offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, laundry area, second floor deck and full game room. Just blocks from The Freezer, MacRae’s, WildSassa, Shelly’s Seafood & Fish Market, River Safaris, the famous Monkey Island, multiple boat ramps and Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. You can spend your days snorkeling with manatees, scalloping, taking an air boat ride, enjoying the fishing and sun on a rental boat, enjoying amazing local fare, cooking up some fresh fish or seafood, walking the wildlife park or kayaking or SUPing the local channels and Homosassa River. A few minute drive offers Crumps, Margurita Grill, Seven Sisters Springs, Chassahowitzka River, Weeki Wachee Springs Water Park and Weeki Wachee Mermaid City, Crystal River, Fort Island Trail Beach, Kings Bay and many other fantastic experiences. There is a long driveway that is able to park four or five cars or two pickups with boat trailers so long as backing in or out isn’t an issue. This house is wonderful for a family vacation. Plenty of room and the bonus is the game room on the first level. We enjoyed being able to spend time watching the sports, playing the games and having our extended family visit while we were there. Perfect place to host a small family gathering. Host are very easy to coordinate the checkin. They communicate and respond to any request. We would definitely stay at this house again.

The property had everything that you needed Love the location easy to get anywhere you needed to go nice quiet neighborhood. Places to eat in the neighborhood also great and only took a few minutes to get there.

We have visited Homosassa several times and love going there. We’ve seen this property before and finally got to stay there, and it exceeded out expectations. As in the photos the property is very modern and the interior is very spacious. The interior has new fixture’s and the property has all of the amenities you need for your stay. Also, this property is very close to the places that we like to visit while in Homosassa, like the Old Mill Tavern and the Freezer. I will definitely stay at this property any time I visit Homosassa.

My husband is a stroke survivor and on his bucket list was to go to crystal river. As an asthmatic who was recovering from covid 2 months ago, I needed some R&R so I decided to take my husband and two daughters to crystal river. We booked this house because it was new and I couldn't take a chance with mold. It was a good decision. The owners resolved a few of the issues we had . The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is stocked (bring your wine opener), the couch is comfortable. The master room is big and has a big closet, the other two rooms are small without closets but we made due. One thing I did not know was that the house was on a rather main street and there was cars/trucks noise. The back of the house has a stunning forrest view. I wished we didn't have to hear the cars. That is just about the location. The town is small. We went there for rest, we did a few hikes, we went to kayak in Crystal River, it is a perfect location for 2-3 days. We went for 6. But were happy to just chill and play ping pong in the cool play room they have. We opened the garage doors when we were there and because the weather was so fresh it was a delight.
My only recommendations for the owners fix the lock from the small bedroom that share the master bathroom and remove the barn door from the bathroom, because it doesn't close to the end and it lacks in privacy. We have older kids, set some rules and made it work but I believe it would be a small expense and a huge improvement. Thank you for leaving plenty garbage bags, I keep people's homes clean and neat and some owners do not provide them, so this was a nice touch. Overall, I believe this is one of the best homes in the area and we build some good memories that we will cherish for a long time.

We had a really great stay at up the creek.
It was enough room for all of us. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was OK. Conditioning and water pressure are great. We enjoyed the area. Thank you for a lovely family vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very clean and as pictured. I was a little worried about the play room down stairs being to warm however there was a large fan that kept it surprising cool on a 95 degree day. It was close to the local amenities as well. The owners were very responsive and made check in and check out a breeze. We loved this place and will be back to stay!

Rockin Awesome Place to Vaca
We are a family of 6 and this place is PERFECT for us. We loved how new the place was, the location was sweet (nearby many of our favorite eateries). We especially loved the game room with karaoke machine! Chris was great to interact with as the property manager and gave us some great insider tips. We would most definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

A wonderful house!
A weeks stay back in my old hometown and this home was in a great location! We rented a golf cart and were able to go to many of the local restaurants. Chris is a great host and very accommodating. The game room was a big hit for my family as well.
