This home is conveniently close to numerous trails for scenic hiking and biking excursions through the San Bernardino National Forest. Lake Arrowhead Village is nearby for great shopping and dining, while you'll discover other shops, antique stores, and restaurants in Crestline, only eight miles from your front door. And be sure to take the kids to SkyPark at Santa's Village for year-round fun, just seven miles southeast. Prepare home-cooked meals in the well-equipped, full kitchen with a breakfast bar. Share delicious meals in the elegant dining area or host a game night. The cozy living room is perfect for watching TV and enjoying the warmth of the fireplace. Right outside, enjoy the view from your furnished deck. THINGS TO KNOW This home, like many in the mountains, does not feature air-conditioning. There are steps down to the home from the parking area. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. This was such a needed break from the hustle and bustle of the big city. The home is beautifully furnished, and stocked with all manner of thoughtful amenities often not found in other vacation homes. The ice-cream maker with simplified instructions encouraging guests to use it made for a really fun evening of coming up with the perfect ice cream flavor! Looking forward to booking this cabin again!

Place was really fun the only problem that this rental was relayed to vancasa very difficult to communicate with. I had just checked out and realized we forgot personal belongings they would not allow us to go back in. That i would have to rent or pay money to have personal belongings to be sent to us. I was really dissapointed with Van Casa first time using them and last time.

We had a pleasant weekend stay. Plenty of walking trails and activities to do as a family. Kitchen could have been cleaned better, especially the floors and pans. They were quite greasy. Plenty of towels, sheets were crispy clean. Pls sweep under beds, oil the bathroom door and provide a sponge scrub in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay. Just what our family needed.

My family and I really enjoyed this place. I liked that we could bring our dog along. The home is in a very nice area. It had everything we needed.The view is beautiful! I also likes that it was close to the village. We would definitely be staying here again.

My job is very stressful. I needed a break and some peace and quiet. When I saw the House of the Rising Sun I thought it was perfect. That was an understatement! The cabin was in a great location. It was cozy and had many small details that made it super personal. There was a coffee station (loved) and an ice cream station! I made homemade peach honey ice cream. I sat on the patio and looked at the beautiful sky. The bed was so comfortable and the air was amazing. My spirit was renewed!

Our family had a wonderful time! The place was beautiful and spacious! Close to Arrowhead Village and many other amenities. We loved being able to hang out and watch Christmas movies and make meals.. We did a day drive to Big Bear and a great hike nearby the house.

We loved the cabin. We had enough rooms/beds for our entire family. The setting was very tranquil and we enjoyed our stay. We could not get the 1 TV to work but if you have a gaming system that may not be a problem. I felt at home and would stay here again. :-)
