About this house rental
Situated in Camano Island, this charming house for $678 per night is a great option for your next break. The 3,000 sq. ft. beach house is located on a no bank waterfront on the beautiful shores of Puget Sound, and is the perfect haven for relaxing days, combing the miles of beach and watching the abundant wild life including blue herons, eagles, seals and the grey whales which swim inside the buoy lines. Each bedroom faces the water and has their own private balcony. Three bedrooms, (two bedrooms are masters) plus loft with 4 twin beds. The place to be, summer or winter! The home itself is beautiful in every way, from the gourmet chefs kitchen to the nicely appointed furnishings. Bring the outside in by opening the Nana doors of the entire living room to the beautiful views of Puget Sound. Lots of hiking available in neighborhood, plus Cama Beach and the State Park, all within 2 miles. Crab and fishing charters and catered dinners also available. Wine tasting is available within 2 miles. The home is handicap friendly with no stairs to the house or the outdoors and is located on a dead end road. There is also a private office with Internet if you wish to work remotely. Such a beautiful little spot on Camano Island. Property owners were so friendly and helpful. House was the perfect layout for our group, including my elderly father. Really enjoyed our crabbing outing (and of course, eating our bounty)! Hope to be back soon!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect location for our three-generation family getaway. My parents were able to use the main floor bedroom. My dad uses a walker and was easily able to get in and out of the house. We all enjoyed sitting outside with the large glass door open. It definitely brings the outdoors inside. Family members enjoyed kayaking, paddle boarding, and walking the beach. The view and location were magical, especially for Independence Day celebrations within the community. Janice and Carolyn were wonderful hosts. Thank you for a very memorable week. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for the second time with a group of girlfriends. It's super clean, check-in/out is easy, and the location is beautiful. The property is currently on the market and I really hope the new buyer keeps it as a VRBO rental.

We had a small family weekend at this home, and it's really in a perfect location on Camano Island. It's right on the beach with views from every room and a generous front yard & deck space for outdoor time. The home was well equipped and quite nice, with a great kitchen where we could cook anything. We'd stay here again for sure.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this home. The description was exactly as it appeared. Very cozy and Carolyn was very helpful when needed. A little more information on how to check in would be nice as we were told nothing and when we arrived the front door was locked but we were able to gain access from the rear slider. The kitchen was well equipped but some foil and plastic wrap would have been nice. Also, small things like the lights in the showers were burnt out, the oven light was burnt out and the lower oven did not heat up properly. Also, some sort of pathway between all the wood and the house to access the beach would have been helpful for us older folks. All in all, it was a beautiful home and we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We can’t say enough positive things about this beautiful Camano home. The house is in a stunning location and we could have just stared out the windows at the water all day. Each room was tastefully decorated but also very comfortable. Everything we could need to cook family dinners was available and the updated kitchen was lovely. The holiday decorations were a wonderful touch. Overall, an A-plus experience. Thank you!!

A lovely location for my moms church group retreat! Even when the whole island lost power in the storm of the season, the owners were lovely and brought over lamps and made sure they were well cared for. We will definitely be back!

We had multigenerational family trip with grandparents, two adult sibs with partners and two kids, ages 9y and 3y. It was the perfect house for us--easy path from house to a safe and secluded beach with good line of site from kitchen and beach front patio, three bedrooms with 3 bathrooms and a kids' loft--all very clean and light-filled. We didn't use the kayak/paddleboard, but these were great options. The house was so relaxing, we didn't even leave during our time--just enjoyed the stunning views!

The house was lovely - well equipped kitchen, good layout for extended family to share space. The big highlight is the huge, openable window wall and proximity to the water! Also very close to the state parks. We would love to return!

Nice home on the beach. Great family trip/ house for all ages to enjoy. The homes near by are VERY close, and this particular beach is very rocky, lots of fun finding crabs, but not great to walk and play on. The home was listed for sale during our stay, and they ended up showing the home during our trip. They said they could of canceled our reservation or we agree to the showing. I was told this after we arrived with no prior notice.

This is truly a gem of a house. We would've been happy just sitting in the living our whole trip. The ability to be so close to nature with the comfort of a great house can't be beat. Carolyn/family are wonderful people and made our stay even better.

A wonderful week away from it all
This house was clean, well stocked, in a great location, and had enough space for a party full of introverts to each find their own quiet corner when necessary. Having the beach right off the porch was amazing, and the jacuzzi tub and fire pit were wonderful. Anything you forgot is just around the corner at this lovely little convenience shop/cafe (that has board games you can check out!) too.

Perfect weekend getaway
We could not imagine a more stunning location and house for a long-overdue girls' weekend. The house was huge, with open spaces for our group to gather (both inside and outside), well-stocked, perfectly maintained, and absolutely gorgeous. We enjoyed several beach walks, made super easy thanks to the low-bank waterfront. And the owner could not have been nicer or more helpful.
In the past, we have enjoyed girls' weekends on Whidbey, but the commute to this house from Seattle and lack of ferry made things a breeze.
We hope to return many times in the future.

Beautiful house!
We had a lovely stay on Camano Island. This is the nicest vrbo we’ve ever stayed in! A little beyond our usual budget but very much worth it for a special getaway.
We saw gray whales feeding right off shore both mornings! The tide coming in on both sides of the road is really amazing. The kids had fun building a driftwood fort and we all loved the birdwatching. Bring binoculars and a bird book!
