About this house rental
This is a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 baths and sleeps 8. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath attached. The upstairs has a queen bed with access to a deck overlooking the creek, a double bed, and two twin beds. The room with the double bed connects to both the room with the twin beds and queen so is ideal for families with children. There is also a half bath upstairs. It has a new kitchen with a breakfast bar and 4 bar stools and an additional full bath off of it. Open living area with dining area that seats 10 and a breakfast bar that has bar stools. The yard is large and has a dock and access to Archers Creek (the water level is dependent on the tides) which leads to the sound. Also has an outdoor shower. The house has 2 kayaks. Feel free to kayak out to the sound and go clamming with clamming rake! We have bikes, beach chairs a wagon and beach toys. (There is a golf cart rental place on the island also)
Has a large deck in the front and a nice large deck in the back that has views of the sound and creek. Also, a deck off the 2nd floor Bedroom with beautiful views as well. The house has a large pond in the front with plenty of frogs and turtles to amaze all ages. This is truly a nature lover paradise!
Also has a beautiful, glassed porch with heat/ac and a gas and charcoal Grill!
The beach is an easy walk or bike ride away (880 yards) and the center of town is less than a mile which make for an easy bike ride or walk to local restaurants and shops.
Dishwasher pods, dish soap, roll of paper towels, coffee filters and trash bags for the kitchen will be provided under the kitchen sink as well as 3 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom. Other items that are needed for your stay will need to be brought with you.

The property is beautiful & the house is laid out in such a fun way with nooks & crannies. The owners of the property do not skimp out on anything to include top-notch appliances & plenty of things like beach towels, hand weights, kayaks, & bikes. There is a telescope, shuffle board table, beach toys, etc.. There was sunscreen, maps & brochures to the area as well as clear & concise instructions. There are a couple of things that I should mention. I did contact the owner prior to our stay to ask if they had an oscillating fan or a fan separate from a ceiling one because the noise helps me sleep. They did provide a small desk fan that we placed on one of the dressers for noise & air circulation. The bedroom on the main floor stayed warm regardless of the thermostat setting or leaving the door open & using both the ceiling fan & the small fan. We did end up going to Lowe's & buying us a pedestal fan for our stay. The AC vents are in the floor at that level and didn't blow very hard so that might have been the issue. That is not something that the owner can take care of right away but it is something that future vacationers should be made aware of. The other thing that should be known is there are skylights in all but one of the bedrooms. If you are sensitive to light there is no way to close them or block them & since I travel with a sleep mask due to being woken up by the light, I just used that instead. We did not like the local donuts. They are very doughy & dense.

Large space for my family to stay. Beautiful scenery. Questions were answered promptly and high priority was taken to address them. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.

We had a wonderful stay at this sound side house this weekend. The view from the deck is lovely and the outdoor entertaining area is wonderful with a tiki bar and lights. The sun room is also a peaceful place to relax and look towards the sound. The kitchen is updated and well-stocked and there is plenty of space in the living/dining areas for extended family and friends. The beds were comfortable and linens provided. The upstairs are close quarters and the bedrooms are all connected (but with doors that close), so that may be best for family and close friends. The beach is not far away. It’s a bit of walk if you have kids and a lot of beach gear, but definitely walkable. We rented a golf cart and I do recommend that. There are golf cart parking spaces and beach access just straight across 58. So it’s easy. Owner was accessible and easy to ask questions of. We would stay here again for sure.
