Amazing location and impressive conversion of historical building. Good breakfast, our room was excellent.
Just a small note, hotel offers valet parking which is very handy, but this is only available day time (I think 8am to 8pm), so something to consider when leaving early or arriving late. Parking outside the historical centre is actually not too difficult nor expensive.

A beautiful unique hotel in the perfect Centro Storico location, each room was different and the whole hotel had a very quirky feel to it. The staff were lovely - super friendly and helpful - we had a very enjoyable stay.
Would have loved a few more vegan options at breakfast within the buffet (although thanks to the chef for rustling up vegan pancakes on the day). Doors on the bedrooms within the family suite would have been a bonus.

The initial impression of the hotel from the street is good and the stone walls and large wooden entrance gate impressive. The decor is very modern in the dining area and the bar appears well stocked. Yoghurt and fruit were available for the buffet breakfast.
We were extremely disappointed with the suite as the bed wasn't a proper bed but a circular sofa bed like cushion on the floor near to the door. It didn't have any legs and was slightly sloped as well as being rock hard. The sheets etc were square and not large enough to cover the bed properly which led to a really awful nights sleep. When we complained that this was not a proper bed and not like the photographs of the room the receptionist was dismissive and rude and made me feel like crying. The staff had been generally unhelpful at check in too - had to ask for a WiFi password. Waited about 20mins for the welcome drink (apparently they forgot). We had room 001 which is just inside the main entrance and next to the entrance porch. It faces the street and was very noisy at night with people shouting etc in the street outside. At about 12:30pm the bedroom light randomly came on and after that the radiator in the bedroom started blasting out hot air instead of the air con. The air con hadn't been very good up until that point but bearable but the room got so hot we had to go to reception (room phone didn't work) to ask for the aircon to be reset (01:30 am). It wasn't possible apparently so we had to leave the window open and switch off the aircon to avoid the heater being on - and live with the noise and light from the street. Curtain does not keep light out of the room so you wake up early. Wooden tables not flat and too high so uncomfortable to eat at.
