Excellent apartment next to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill
Everything was great. The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the small balcony, where it was nice to sit in the evening and taste Italian wine after a day of sightseeing.
The location is simply excellent. Almost all major attractions are within walking distance. The entrance to the Palatine Hill is only about 50 meters from the apartment. We spent three days exploring Rome mostly on foot and rarely needed public transport.
The air conditioning was a real lifesaver during the summer heat. Another big advantage is that the balcony and windows face the inner courtyard. Some guests may prefer a city view, but for us the quiet nights were a huge benefit.
The host was friendly and helpful. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to spend these wonderful days in Rome. We would gladly stay here again.
A small tip for future guests: make sure you have internet access when arriving for the first time, as the self check-in instructions are provided online.
Only a couple of minor things. A dishwasher would have been useful, especially for longer stays. Also, the nearest supermarket is not very close and takes about 10 minutes to reach on foot.
Overall, these are very small details and did not affect our stay. We were very satisfied.

I will definitely consider renting this property again in the future.
How easy it was to access property and really good communication with host.
I think apartment can use better housekeeping. Especially bathroom.

I would like to share my bad experience in the San Teodoro Apartment in Rome.
When choosing the place to stay in Rome, it was important for us to have a place where we can cook, have a nice cup of coffee at the end of the day and (because of August heat) a proper air-conditioning. All seem to be at the San Teodoro Apartment, as described in Booking.com website.
When we arrived and turned on the AC, the (electricity) power in the apartment fell.
The same happened when using the stove.
There was not electric kettle, so we had to use the stove again.
The WiFi didn't work properly and cellular reception in the apartments was poor.
We called the property manager, who gave us instructions on the phone. Nothing really changed, until we insisted that he will come and see what can be done. When he finally arrived, he explained that due to the poor electricity power, stove and ACs can operate only until medium level and not together.
This is absolutely not what we expected from the apartment, as described in Booking.com and said we will look for another place after the weekend. Not only that the property manager didn't solve the problem or took responsibility, he demanded city tax for the entire period before he left. He didn't leave until we explained that the tax is paid per diem, so if we are going to leave the apartment, there is no need to pay the tax to him for the entire period. He was not happy about it at all, but realized he had no option and left angrily. His body language through that event was aggressive and threatening.
My family was left behind scared that he may be waiting outside. That night, even though we realized that there is only one blanket at the apartment, we preferred using sheets to covered ourselves and not to call him again. We also avoided using any of the other appliances to prevent the power from falling.
Oh, and if this is not enough, the San Teodoro team submitted a complaint against us in Booking.com.

A zuhany ajtaja elég makacs szerkezet. A vendéglátóval egyszer tudtunk beszélni, amikor segítséget kértünk a bejutáshoz. Tört angollal elhadart valamit, aztán lecsapta a telefont... na ekkor eléggé bepánikoltunk. 20 perces kínlódás után sikerült kinyitni az ajtót. Később próbáltuk felvenni a kapcsolatot a szállásadónkkal, de hiába.

Die Lage war bestens.
Das Schloss zur Ferienwohnung war kaputt. Wir sollen versuchen, es mit einem Messer zu schließen. Reparatur am nächsten Tag wurde versprochen. Es ist nie jemand aufgetaucht.
