Location is great, staff were friendly, room was great
There was no cutlery in the room except two tiny wooden spoons, I would suggest at least a few packets of disposable cutlery be included in the rooms for people travelling with their own food or those that eat late after the reception has closed for the night to request some

Very good compassionate manager who went above and beyond to meet our needs under very difficult circumstances.
A bit tired and old. It would take much to give it a bit of a facelift.

The bathroom was very small.

We ordered a hot breakfast which arrived hot and within the time requested. Good size TV. Shower was hot. Quiet overnight considering it was on the main street although we could hear the guest snoring next door. Close walking distance to pub for tea as restaurant was closed on Sunday nights.
Bathroom had a musky/mouldy smell. Bed was not comfortable - felt like sleeping in a hammock.
Only 1 glass provided. Heater did not have remote to turn it on - had to reach up and push the power button.
