If you’re an early bird and it’s a clear morning, prepare for a gorgeous sunrise and watch the sun pop up. Occasionally, far-away Mount Rainier will be visible to the east. When everyone stirs, the chef of the group can step into the spacious full kitchen and whip up a delicious breakfast as everyone reminisces at the breakfast bar. When everyone returns from a full day of adventure, watching the colors of the sky change each evening with a favorite drink in-hand will be a great way to settle down. If you’re fortunate, you may see a small plane take off and land, a large freighter or fishing vessel in the bay, an eagle land in the tree near the deck, or a hawk hunting over the tide-flats. Not to mention, the whole gang will love munching on a bowl of popcorn as a movie plays on the flatscreen TV. What's nearby: Perched in the northern end of Westport, this home offers a private oasis facing South Bay while still being close to the main drag of town. The beachgoers will definitely be yearning for sandy toes, so make your way to Westport Light State Park and walk along the Westport Light Trail to find your own favorite spot to relax. While in the area, don't forget to check out Grays Harbor Lighthouse, Washington's tallest lighthouse sitting just under two miles from home base. When you work up an appetite, stop into local favorites like The Lighthouse Bistro, Pine Tree Tavern, or El Rancho Family Mexican Restaurant. Things to know: Free WiFi Full kitchen Two dogs are welcome * Please note that there are two active security cameras on-site: one at the front door and one mounted outside the home. Both face down the driveway. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Security camera details: There are two cameras: one at the front door facing down the driveway and one mounted outside the home facing down the driveway. They are active while guests are present. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

What a beautiful home! Gave us a throwback to our childhood (70’s), except updated with great taste. Very clean, everything there to start your trip. We got to see a few planes take off and ships come and go. Saw a blue colored bird, not sure if it was a blue bird per se, but it was neat to see. Very roomy home on a dead end road so very little traffic. Close to the grocery store and the Westport restaurants and shops of all kinds. Fresh crab on the docks too! There were only 4 of us and a pup, but room for more per house rules. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

The house is lovely and if we were staying there in summer, we probably would have had no complaints. Unfortunately, we arrived on a very cold winter day so immediately looked for how to turn on the gas fireplace, which I had made sure to confirm was in working order before we arrived. I was assured it was. We couldn’t figure out how to turn it on so I reached out to Vacasa. After a lot of back and forth,
requests from us for clear instructions on turning on the fireplace and a couple canned responses from customer service about how the gas fireplace “might” work, we looked under a decorative lobster figurine in the fireplace and lifted a metal grate to discover a giant hole to the underneath of the house. If a gas hookup existed at one time, it’s no longer there. I sent pictures to Vacasa and asked about a partial refund since the fireplace was partly why we booked and the heat pump at the house was not really keeping up with the cold outside. We were freezing the first night as it took maybe 12 hours for the house to get up to 68 degrees. They told me repeatedly that the gas fireplace does, in fact, work (though no one could actually tell me how to turn it on and no one could be sent to check it out in person despite them referencing a “local team.”) They said they wouldn’t provide any type of refund because the fireplace works (it doesn’t) according to the local team who never showed up to provide any type of support. No more Vacasa properties for me.

Views of the salt marsh and bay were magnificent. Saw two bald eagles in a nearby tree.

This house has spectacular views of the Bay!! It has huge windows from the living room all the way to the dining area and one of the rooms. It was beautiful to wake up to these views!! This property is spacious, enough room for a big family. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything u need to cook. I loved the beam work, fireplace and overall coziness of the property. There were very minor things that could be improved like non working lights, the lock on the bathroom in the hall did not work and glass balcony could have used some cleaning. But none of these reasons take away from the beauty and peacefulness of the property! We got to see some deers on the driveway which was very cool for the kids. We definitely can’t wait to come back!!!

The home was larger and nicer than expected. The living areas were very nice and the views were enjoyable. Lots of herons could be seen in the march. Especially liked the bedroom off the deck with a view. We didn't sleep in that room but it looked divine. The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our visit.

House was great. Property management was very responsive and helpful. There are some restrictions that should be made a bit clearer before contract is signed regarding the number of people that can be in the house, not counting the people staying. Also, a small binder with information regarding occupancy and other restrictions and instructions for use of appliances would be helpful.

Very sweet home that checked all our boxes (although our boys were eagerly awaiting a plane to land, which didn’t occur…at least not while we were at the house. So quiet, peaceful and a great layout!

We love Westport, it’s quiet and the beaches are beautiful WA beaches-the dunes have a smell. If you know, you know. This house has an amazing view and we enjoyed how close it was to town and the beach. The yard was huge and my boys got a kick out of seeing a few planes take off/land right from the living room. We would love to stay again, thank you.

Everything great except the barbeque is a joke. It was nothing more than an electric outdoors fry pan. Put a real propane grill on the property and you would have a slam dunk vacation rental. Other than the grill, it was better than perfect. Thanks, we will be back!

Very good property for our family gathering. Location was pleasant with distant view of Gray’s Harbor and marshland. Close to beach and Westport boat harbor. Recommend this property and Westport. Will go again.

We loved our time in Westport at this beautiful house. It is very specious and has a lot of great amenities. The balcony is perfect for children and pets. We wished the shower head in the master bathroom was a little higher. We thought we would be able to walk to the bay, but due to the canal this wasn't possible. We would definitely stay here again.

House was nice. It is a bit older with updates like light fixtures, furnishings, etc. cleaning was good - few spider webs, but understood as it is that time of year. Kitchen works but is in need of a remodel. Cupboards are old and oddly small and short. Affectionately named the island “The Hobbit Table”. Bedding was lovely and beds very comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck watching birds and the little planes coming in. Overall great time.

Our family enjoyed this lovely home with great views. There was lots of light and plenty of space, the sofa is amazing. Also plenty of eating space and seating on the deck. it was great to see the planes take off from the airstrip right in front. The reason I only gave it a 3 star was the floors were dirty and needed a good vacuum and washing, but we would definitely go back.

Our group of 6 adults enjoyed the large common areas in the kitchen, dining and living room. Plenty of room to comfortably cook and hang out. We even had family and friends that had other accommodations, come for dinner and drinks. Plenty of room for all! We also appreciated the ability to retreat to the comfortably appointed private bedrooms.

Also would have been appreciated if there was information regarding restaurants and places to see, etc. There wasn't any info provided at all. Otherwise a great stay with perfect weather.

If you plan on cooking you might want to bring essential utensils. The location is quiet at night. You'll need to drive to any amenities--beaches, shopping, groceries, etc.

Bayview is a dream
Loved this house! With 6 adults, 3 meals a day x 4 days we could have used more dishwasher tablets and more garbage bags. Some dog hair around from previous visitors. Besides that it was perfect!!

This property is close to town. Was clean and roomy. Coffee pot keeps the counter hot but does not make hot coffee. We saw eagles and coyotes in the marshy area and 4 planes on the air strip. Plenty of towels. I loved their plush thick rug so much we went and bought the exact same one.

Family came to Westport to bottom fish. This home just made the trip special. All family members enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for all, very spacious. Well definitely stay here next year for what we plan will now be an annual trip.
