Very spacious and in a great location in the quieter part of Ortigia
The bed was very hard so we didn’t get good sleeps unfortunately.

The property is better than some of its past reviews. Clean,spacious and in an excellent quiet location close to everything. For us it was a great choice. There are always idiosyncrasies but nothing here that caused a problem and anyway thats part of the charm of choosing such a property. Good air conditioning was a bonus on the 35C days we experienced. Good wifi and always 5G signal for phone. Shower was good as was water supply and temperature. In all a great place to stay for our 4 nights.
Improvements might be more electricity points in the kitchen but what is there worked for us. Cereal bowls not present but not a problem and perhaps a couple of larger cups for those that prefer larger capacity than traditional Italian coffee cups....these are suggestions and not criticisms the whole place is fine.

Great host, allowed us to checked in really early.
The location was perfect, in the center, but it was also very peaceful.
The wifi was good.
Good hot water
The bed was in a really bad condition
The mattress was really old and lumpy and not very comfortable
The pillows was really old and smelt very bad, like sweat, so much so that I did not use the pillows at all for my stay.
It made me a little uncomfortable sleeping in the bed at night for these reasons.
The furniture was a little outdated and sofa a bit uncomfortable
