Grear location in the maze of laneways - if you know Ortygia, you know what I mean! easy walk everywhere

3 nice bedrooms. Bath rooms very ok. Clean. Privat balcony. Good communication with staff.
Some parts of the house need some renovation, but maybe for Sicily standards it is still quite good.

The apartment is centrally located. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean.
The stairs were a big challenge for everyone in the group, even the fit ones. Also, in the ground floor bathroom, there is a light switch for the hot water, but this is not indicated anywhere, so I took a cold shower the first morning. Instructions for finding the apartment and unloading our luggage and then finding parking were very confusing and caused a bit of stress when we arrived. Nothing is really explained, so if you’re new to Ortigia, as our small group of five was, you will be confused.

Good location
Air conditioning units too small for the house and most inadequate. Three small units one on each floor. No aircon in top floor bedroom, ended up moving mattress in to living room. 3 sets of Steep stairs. Air conditioning dripped lots water on first and second floor and bottom floors, slip hazard in slippery tiles at bottom of each flight of stairs. Handrail was only fixed with one set of screw per bracket , holes for four and wrong shaped bracket for circular timber handrail. At each end and only brackets at either end and felt could pull out of wall or off the bracket at anytime. Lot flex in handrail. Had elderly parent so had to move them to bottom room. Roof top terrace was quite nice, but air conducting blew hot air right across the table sit around. Very hard to find and inadequate assistance from hotel nearby same owner.
