The location is great, just off a street with bars and restaurants leading up the castle
Beware! The stairs are really dangerous, particularly when going downstairs in the night to the bathroom (both bedrooms are upstairs with the only bathroom downstairs)
There is no handrail and the stairs are extremely steep with narrow tread. As a result we left early and booked into a hotel, we messaged the host to ask for a refund but only referred us to the fact it clearly states the property has stairs, what it doesn’t state is the issues I have mentioned. And had we have know we would have not booked. While I appreciate not a lot can be done about the stairs the additional of a handrail would help massively.
The whole property would benefit from a full refurbishment and the addition of WIFI
