Nestled in Lake Michigan Beach, this lovely house for $179 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. PICK ME! PICK ME! Chip Loves company. This cute little cottage is nestled in between St. Joseph (9 miles south) and South Haven(12 miles north) along the Lake Michigan shoreline. It is one mile south of Roadside park and one mile north of Hagar Park. These public beaches are surprisingly secluded and wooded in what guests have described as a diamond in the rough. There is plenty to do in both directions. Chip's Place is a cozy Family friendly cottage. We are NOT large enough for parties inside or outside. We have taken great pride and care to create an experience for our guests that will create happy memories of the cottage by the big Lake. Chip's has one central air conditioner in the main room that keeps the entire cottage cool and both bedrooms have ceiling fans. Guests' enjoy activities in the surrounding communities for year long adventures. We have received high marks for decor, activities, amenities and cleanliness! A friend and I had a weekend stay to relax. It was quiet, clean and exactly as represented. The location was perfect for all of our activities; beach, St.Joe's farmer's market, shops, restaurants and wineries.

Chip's Place was fantastic! So close to Hagar Park Beach, South Haven, St. Joseph. Dawn was wonderful to work with and answered all my questions promptly. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Coffee, tea, s'mores fixings, snacks, condiments, bathroom items. It was literally perfect for me, my 4 year old daughter, and my sister in law to spend the weekend. You will definitely not be disappointed with this place. We just loved it!!

We had a great time staying in this cute cottage. Owners provided everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Rental was very clean. Having a deck area on the front and back was very handy in the late afternoon and evening. Short 3 minute drive to a beautiful beach area. Added an extra night a few days before our trip.Owner was extremely accommodating and got back with me within an hour of the request.

My daughter and and her two year old son wanted a short getaway to Lake Michigan. It was perfect,it is small quaint cottage It is very clean and very well kept. Dawn keeps it well supplied with snacks and s'mores which were an extra special treat for my grandson who never had one before.
It is close to Coloma a very nice town and also close to St Joes. The beaches are beautiful. We spent our beach time at Hagar Park and were very please.
All in all only good things to say and we hope to visit again

Very quaint cottage. Quiet, very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable . At first look you might think it is small , but there were 4 adults and we had plenty of room. The price was very affordable as well

This property is close to 2 beaches that are perfect and feel quite private. Our kids loved it. We went south one evening to at. Joseph’s to walk the shops and get ice cream and north the next to south haven. The small little 2 bedroom cottage was clean and suited our needs greatly! I’m sure my kids will want to come back. They didn’t want to leave!

To celebrate our first wedding anniversary, we wanted to go to a beach that we didn’t have to get on a plane to get to. This little cottage was perfect for us! Beach close by, DG even closer, friendly people, etc. Well stocked. We cooked each meal there and had all the right equipment supplied. Very clean. Great owner who communicates well! We’ll be back for another stay!!

When I booked this property….it was based on the picture that was shown…this picture apparently is an attraction nearby…not the actual adorable cottage. I contacted host and VRBO..with no resolution. The place inside was adorable. The keurig and coffee and smore basket were nice. Great quality sheets and towels. I was very disappointed tho of the outside…

We enjoyed our visit! The house is generously stocked and very clean. The air conditioning kept the whole house cool in the August heat. The location made it easy to come home and let our baby nap midday before heading out again to the beach. Thanks so much!

Loved this cottage. Close to beaches and bonus games to play at night. Super clean! And the little extras like coffee and creamer and cooking basics were certainly appreciated.

What a beautiful place. Everything was so neat and clean. The neighborhood was quiet. A convenient location to St Joseph and South Haven. We loved the s’mores kit with graham crackers, marshmallows and chocolate, super nice bonus! Also being from TN we really enjoyed seeing a local artist’s painting from Gatlinburg on the wall!!

This was the perfect little cottage for our family of 4. Enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood and the location between beautiful beaches and parks and beach towns. Would highly recommend staying here. We would love to come back again as well.

Small but packed with charm and supplies. Everything we needed was right at hand, including the public beach which was only 2 minutes away by car and very clean. We will definitely return!

We stayed a couple nights over the Steelhead 70.3 race weekend. I would definitely stay Sunday night next time, because it's is such a beautiful place to race and vacation. I didn't want ot leave! Highly recommend this house if you want a cottage out of the fray but close enough to everything in BH.

The property was super clean and well maintained. It had a full kitchen with everything you need. It was tastefully decorated! The host even provided flavor creamers for our morning coffee.

Our stay was excellent. It was perfect for a family of 4. It’s in a good location not too far from South Haven. We had a blast.

Vacation - Lake Michigan
The House was charming and quaint. Very tidy and had everything we needed. Store around the corner for anything else. The property is in between south Haven and St. Joseph. So it was the perfect place to start our vacation. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, even though it’s a little older. We had an excellent stay.

We had a great stay at Chips place. The cabin was clean and nicely up to date. We had a very comfortable stay. Hagar park beach, St. Joseph, and South Haven were all close and we had a very relaxing time. The supplied charcoal for grilling was a nice touch.
