It’s a beautiful hotel, very nicely decorated. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and told we had been given an upgraded room with a view on the square. We were lucky to have “box seats” for the 2 shows on the square. The breakfast was very nice!
My only complaint is that you don’t give the address to the public parking ahead.
I got an email saying there was parking close by but we needed the address before arriving

The best thing about Hotel Republica is its staff. Everyone was so nice and helpful! I especially want to recognize Julia and Vera. We’d go back just to see them, but that’s not the only reason we’d stay there again. The location was great. Right in the historic square. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious! It was the perfect place to stay while we explored all Tomar had to offer! I highly recommend Hotel Republica!

All the staff were amazing. We got a free upgrade as there had been a cancellation, so we had a fab view of the square below. Location was also great - we walked up to the Convent in around 10 minutes. The hotel owns the cafe next door so we sat outside in the evening after dinner and chatted to the lovely people in there. ❤️
