The hotel has a good location, on-site parking, a swimming pool and even a small gym. The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly.
Although the hotel is presented as a boutique hotel, we felt the overall experience was more basic than expected. The room is large, but having both a double and a single bed makes it feel a little crowded. Some of the furniture and amenities also feel slightly improvised rather than thoughtfully integrated. The breakfast room is quite functional and lacks atmosphere.
Overall, a comfortable stay with good facilities, but guests looking for a truly boutique experience may find it more basic than expected.

Location is in easy walking distance to old town and castle; free parking right outside the hotel; modern bathroom; credit card payment possible; pool and terrace very nice when it is warm enough and sunny (we were there in October, so could not make any use of it)
Shower has no curtain, so it is unavoidable to flood the room; furniture (design) in the bedroom really needs an update; the breakfast room should be better separated from the kitchen, as you sit right in (and smell) the cooking; the breakfast room has no atmosphere at all, cats are strawling around and a TV is running all the time with personnel sitting on a couch in front ot it; we asked for a restaurant recommendation and were told "best place in town is ...", which then turned out to be owned by the owner of the hotel but is not highly rated in TripAdvisor
