Great location and views back to the castle. Had all facilities you needed and plenty of space. It was great to have a washing machine.
The bed was way too soft and a challenge to get comfortable. The fan in the bathroom was super loud and really put you off spending time in there. I didn’t like that it was up 6 flights of stairs and I don’t remember seeing that in the listing and would not have chosen the apartment if I had known. The stairwell really stank with pee and bird poo.

The appartment was big, cozy, had everything you need in it. The location was perfect and we had an amazing view Torwarts the castel.
The Appartement was great but… the problem is the Building. When we entered the hallway it had a strong smell of piss. The staircase was full of bird poo. We also saw people in our building who live there who are clearly using heavy drugs… not gonna lie, it was a little scary. On the second day there was fresh piss on the floor next to broken glass and a bisycle. We were always running to our Appartement because it smelled so terrible. The locks are safe, we were never harassed and in general felt safe, but we wouldn’t go back there because of the reasons we just mentioned.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Edinburgh kann man gut von dort aus zu Fuß erkunden. Bushaltestellen verschiedener Linien sind in der Nähe. Die Räume der Unterkunft sind in der obersten Etage des Hauses. Somit hat man einen schönen Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer auf Edinburgh Castle.
Leider ist das Treppenhaus nicht sehr ansehnlich, schmutzig und es riecht im Haustürgang sehr unangenehm.

Appartement cosy pour 2.
L’entrée et les escaliers de l’immeuble sont très sales, due à la proximité des bars.
Je ne me suis sentie très en sécurité. Un homme a essayé de s’introduire dans l’immeuble, juste après moi.
