INTRODUCING SOUTH SEAS BAYSIDE VILLA 5310 **Please note that South Seas Resort is still undergoing recovery due to Hurricane Ian. You may experience work noises throughout your stay or neighboring units getting remodeled. The price is adjusted accordingly. As of July, 2023 there are NO elevators in the Bayside Villa buildings. Please ask questions prior to booking** Located in the South Seas Island Resort on beautiful Captiva Island, Bayside Villa 5310 is a nicely furnished and pleasantly decorated condo that overlooks the bay and marina and had NO hurricane damage! This unit has everything you need to make your tropical vacation a peaceful and relaxing one! With three bedrooms and three bathrooms, this unit can sleep up to eight guests comfortably. Hurricane Ian Update: - As of July 2023 the elevators are still not operating. HOA is hoping to have them repaired by winter 2023. Please ask before booking. - Community pool is open but not heated - No beach chairs or equipment - No tennis courts - Work will continue throughout the entire resort so you may experience loud noises or neighbors remodeling. HOME FEATURES South Seas Bayside Villa 5310 features an open floor plan with brand new couches in the main living area, that allows you to enjoy views of the beautiful Bay. The master bedroom is located on the main level and features a king bed and en-suite bathroom, while the guest bedrooms are located upstairs featuring a king in the first room with ensuite bathroom and two doubles in the second room. If you’re not enjoying a day out on the famous white beaches of Captiva, go enjoy a dip in the community pool, picnic with the family at the community BBQ grills, or bike around the beautiful island! *While South Seas Bayside Villa 5310 is located within the gates of South Seas Island Resort, the Bayside Villas are a separate association within the resort. That means you won't have to pay a resort fee.! While you won't get resort amenity access, you will have access to our association amenities including the shared heated pool, tennis courts, propane BBQ grills, marina access (with additional fee), and award-winning Captiva Island beaches! **This unit is located on the top floor so please note that there are no elevators due to Hurricane Ian. The HOA is still waiting on parts and are hoping to have them working again by Winter 2023. Feel free to ask us for updates prior to booking** ABOUT CAPTIVA ISLAND AND THE AREA Captiva, which is connected to Sanibel by a small bridge, is 5 miles long; and Pine Island is 17 miles in length. Originally Captiva was part of Sanibel Island but when it was severed in 1926 by a hurricane's storm surge, Blind Pass was created separating the two islands. Bayside Villa 5310 is located in the South Seas Resort, which offers guests 2.5 miles of beautiful beaches with stunning sunsets nightly. The resort offers a blend of hotel rooms, timeshares, and single ownership condominiums, beach villas, marina villas, tennis villas, and private beach homes. Have questions? I have stayed at this resort before and loved it and everything it offered. I did not read the complete disclosure on this property that it DID NOT include the amenities, complimentary umbrellas and beach chairs, access to all pools.

Stay was absolutely lovely! Only complaint is that it wasn't long enough - haha Team members were super friendly and the facilities were very clean The tennis courts were exquisite

Great location. The marina is perfect for bird watching. Even saw a manatee and dolphin in the marina. Property could use updated dresser in upstairs master. It was musty. The property manager responded immediately when we had a problem.

The listing said recently updated and it was not. The condo had great space, great location, but the pool was not cleaned, the dryer would not dry the clothes then once “fixed” kept setting off the fire alarm, the carpet has not been cleaned, the microwave panel was not attached completely, the wristbands are a must for the property and it was not clear at booking what we were missing out on, the showers are hard to get on and drains poorly.
