Bella Vista Retreat is a luxurious home nestled above a lovely deep-water cove (great for swimming, fishing, and boating) with outstanding views! The house is ideal for accommodating a large extended family or gathering of friends who enjoy water activities or just entertaining indoors and outdoors in a beautiful lakefront setting. This property has it all with your own large in-ground salt-water pool (seasonal), a separate 6-person hot tub, an outdoor kitchen and dining area with an outdoor television, a community dock with a designated boat slip. Every bedroom boasts views of the lake. The house is conveniently located less than 4 miles from major shopping and restaurants in Hartwell, GA You will appreciate the new high quality custom designer furnishings throughout this home. The large open main floor main living area has everything to offer as your primary entertainment area. Completing the main floor are three bedrooms and two full baths. The master bedroom is outfitted with a king bed, ensuite bathroom with his/her walk-in closets. The second bedroom boasts a king bed, and the third bedroom, a comfortable queen bed. Both the second and third bedroom are equipped with nightstands and a private closet. Also, the main floor hosts a Chef’s Kitchen with modern appliances and accessories. An extra refrigerator and freezer are available for additional storage in the laundry room. An office space is provided with wireless internet. The upper level contains the fourth bedroom which is equipped with four trundle beds to accommodate up to eight people. Also included, is a TV. Last, but not least is the impressive large outdoor living areas. Step out of the house, and you are immediately greeted by a beautiful outdoor kitchen that features a granite countertop with a sink, dorm size refrigerator, and a built-in stainless grill. This house had absolutely everything you’ll need for a family vacation! 4 adults and 2 older teenage boys, and plenty of room for everyone! We rented a boat for 3 days also. The game room and pool were definitely a hit! First time in Hartwell so we enjoyed the little downtown area. The owners were very responsive with any question we had. If we decide to come back to Hartwell, we’ll def be staying here again! An absolutely perfect place for a family vacation. Thank you for letting us enjoy your oasis on Lake Hartwell!

The house is exactly as described. It is a beautiful house. We kayaked and swam in the lake. We swam in the pool and soaked in the hot tub. We played ping pong in the game room. There are lots of board games and puzzles in the laundry room and lots of DVD movies on the shelf and in the drawers in the office room behind the kitchen. Everything is very nice. We picked up pizza one night from New York pizza in town. The Ingles grocery store is just up the road. We drove down and saw the dam that makes the lake. The Botanical Garden in town is beautiful and free to visit. If you like animals or have kids, visit the Lake Hartwell Wildlife Safari about ten miles north of town. It was fantastic and inexpensive, really a good time. We also drove about an hour away to Seneca to Oasis Ranch mini golf. In summary, you can really relax and enjoy the house, but there are also plenty of excursions you can do in the area. Five Stars!

We had a wonderful time at Bella Vista. My parents, my sister’s family as well as my family really enjoyed our time together at the house. They have everything you can think of at the house. Besides a game room with ping pong, foosball, and other games, they have all kinds of family games, board games, card games and puzzles. There were lots of books and tons of DVDs too. The kitchen is well stocked with all the pots and pans, appliances, and utensils one could need. There is even a well stocked spice drawer. We loved having 2 full size refrigerators, 3 mini fridges, and a full size freezer to feed our crowd. Even with a large family, the house was very roomy. We appreciate that there was plenty of space to enjoy a meal together or hang out as a family in the family room. The outdoor living area was nice and their was a really great outdoor kitchen. The large pool and hot tub were super clean and enjoyable. The kids really enjoyed using the diving board. The house has two kayaks, life jackets of all sizes, and a knee board. The house was spotless and spacious. We’d love to come again! It felt like we were staying in our own private resort. We highly recommend this house.

I'm a professor and I've learned that lists work for retention...so here is my list as to why this is a vacation home that you have to rent:
1. The view is spectacular
2. Huge saltwater pool
3. Every bed is comfortable! - No joke!
4. The town of Hartwell is very cute and has several excellent restaurants
5. There are only 5 homes on the street so it is SO quiet
6. You can walk to a beautiful park right down the street - we did that every morning at sunrise and loved it
7. The bathrooms and kitchen are all top-notch
8. I didn't want to leave the master suite - I got my own closet:)
9. The home has its own boat slip - we rented a boat and loved Lake Hartwell
10. The kids' "playroom" with ping pong etc. is incredible for kids
Bonus - I actually relaxed for a full week - too bad that doesn't happen everywhere:-)

This house is absolutely amazing. Exceeded our expectations. Cleanest property and best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in with VRBO. The pool and hot tub most enjoyable and the view from the lake shore was beautiful! The host was very easy to communicate with and always answered in a timely manner. There were twelve of us and the property was ideal inside and outside. The inside was fitted to a very high standard and a bonus was a large, very well equipped games room, which was great fun in the evenings. Outside, the seating area / BBQ kitchen was perfect on a warm evening and the pool area was easily big enough to accommodate all of us and overlooked the lake. We had a great time.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. It is even nicer than the pictures. The kitchen is a cooks dream and the indoor and outdoor entertaining areas were so enjoyable. The rental experience with the host was great. He was always very responsive and made the check in and out an easy experience. We would love to go back again.

This home felt like a home away from home for the Christmas holidays! The booking and check in process was really easy and the hosts were great with communication. We were so happy to see that the home was decorated for the holidays so it felt very festive. Our whole immediate family was there and it was perfect. Would love to rebook in the summer to take full advantage of the beautiful lake.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home! It had everything we needed to entertain teens, prepare a thanksgiving meal, prepare and eat tailgate food for the games on Saturday, play many board games, watch movies, football and tv! We had a wonderful stay! The view was beautiful! The kids enjoyed the upstairs bedroom, the game room off the garage, and hanging in the hot tub. We truly had a great time and communication with the owner was seamless and easy. He prepared us for the broken ice maker and we were able to keep our glasses filled with two bags of ice from the grocery store stored in the freezer. We were able to cook everything we needed in the bottom oven. The top one was broken while we were there. The owner had also prepared us for that ahead of time. Everything went really well and we had a wonderful stay and hope to come back! Plenty of room for two families and grandmother totaling 11 people.

We have a group of ten ladies that gather annually for a long weekend. This was an excellent location not far from town and groceries. Clean, comfy and a spacious gathering point for large crowds. Superb views of the lake. The inside and outside areas were clean and neat. Gathering areas were great and we had plenty of options for hanging out.
We did have some issues that can be easily resolved. Outside TV couldn't get good signal. One of the double ovens did not work and the ice maker was broken so we had to provide our own ice. There were fire ants on the patio and one of our group members received bites all over her feet. We had to go to the store to buy ant killer and treatment because there was none in the house.
Overall we would recommend this house for location and
amenities.

Property is as it is described. Beds were very comfortable. House was beautiful. Location was near town, stores, restaurants, and park areas with boat ramps.
Cons were minor: batteries for remotes, need several light bulbs replaced, and ice maker leaking from previous stay so had to buy ice. The only major issue was dock listed was nowhere to be found. We didn't ask it's specific location as ramp was very close, but if you are looking for a place with dock in walking distance I am not sure this is the place.
I would stay here again, even with the dock issue.
Funny thing! Neighbor likes working on his yard with LOUD equipment. So, be prepared for neighbor running mower, blower, and weedeater multiple days and watching everything you do outside.

We stayed with our kids at this property (ages 24 to 14). The pool was perfect for them. It was a large/great sized pool that actually has a deep end which is sometimes hard to find. The pool area was great with plenty of room for our family. The lake is beautiful and the kids really took advantage of swimming in the lake as well. It's on a quiet cave which made it safe for them while also having a great view of the big part of the lake itself. There were kayaks for use on the lake as well. We had a few unforseen things pop up that were not something that the owners could have expected and they were extremely responsive and took care of everything fast. The house has plenty of room and was well stocked with everything we needed. Grocery stores are also within a 10 minute drive which was also very convenient. We really enjoyed this property and would definitely recommend it.

We normally bring lots of things for the kitchen and we’re surprised with everything already there. Bed rooms are very nice. Master wing gets 5 stars with those views . Furniture was very comfortable unlike most places. They have 2 extra fridges in the laundry room another great bonus for the chef. Out door area gets 5 stars. Covered areas with fans, great out door kitchen,Tv and hot tub. Tons of seating for eating outside or inside. The pool is a nice salt water pool. It was a retractable top which is a huge bonus at night time since my 3 year old can’t swim I was able to sleep easier. House has a dock not on the property but a couple houses down, it’s a short walk down a wooded trail we’re we saw deer almost every time. My kids did a lot of fishing on the dock and caught some big catfish.Property has a nice beach area right on the lake. You’re able to easily beach your boat there to pick up your squad and supplies. Next door neighbor Vince was a really nice guy,bumped into him at his dock when we checked in. you can rent a boat at Hartwell marina which is about 10 min drive from property and about 15 mins by boat. If you have never stayed at Hartwell this would be a great place to to enjoy the big water which is a stones throw away from the house. Also ingles is the closest store,less then 10 mins away. New York pizza is a must for pizza fans. owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He was able to assist with a early check in which is always appreciated. We normally try out different places and rarely return to previous rentals but I think this will be our Hartwell spot for the future.

Beautiful home and property
I went on vacation with my wife and kids at this location. We got there and it was pretty much as advertised and seen in the pictures. We couldn't have been happier with everything. There is a small beach area on the property where we could swim in the lake that wasn't really mentioned or pictured in the listing which was a pleasant surprise. The pool was beautiful and large. The hot tub was clean and very nice. Plenty of outdoor fans to make sitting outside in the shade comfortable even when it's hot outside. So much for the kids to do inside as well with the game room and toys and board games and puzzles. Plenty of TV's everywhere for everyone to find someone they want to watch. Such a large living room and dining area and kitchen. This place is perfect for large parties in every part of the house. The listing also says it sleeps 8 upstairs but only pictures 4 twin beds. Reason is because each twin bed has a trundle bed that pulls out from underneath. The lake is absolutely beautiful and the water is so clear. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and everyone loved it. Thank you so much to Kevin and his team for an unforgettable vacation. They were very helpful, responsive, and informative.

Bella Vista is a beautiful vacation retreat with every amenity a family needs! You could not ask for anything more in a vacation home. The layout provides comfort inside and out, and the natural beauty of Lake Hartwell is food for the soul! Communication with the owner/property manager was excellent! Family Vacay - 4 grandsons under 5!
After going to the beach last year, we thought we would try treating our family to something different this year. We found this Lake Hartwell beauty last year and booked it immediately. We had our two grown children, their spouses and babies. This home had plenty of space for everyone. The view was gorgeous. I think we all enjoyed the outside spaces the most … a beautiful outdoor kitchen, hot tub, pool, and TV area. It was lovely!!
