L’Ametlla de Mar is located within a 5-10minute drive of the villa, it is a popular destination for couples and families who return year after year to soak up the atmosphere of this quaint town which has retained it’s authentic charm. L’Ametlla de Mar offers a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. An ideal location for a relaxing drink in the sunshine, or on a warm evening in one of the tapas bars, traditional fish restaurants, or international restaurants on the port, where you can watch the catch of the day being reeled in. There are many other fabulous harbour towns and mountain villages steeped in culture and tradition nearby. A little further a field you will find the historic cities of Reus, birthplace of Gaudi, and Tarragona with it’s beautiful Roman Amphitheatre. There are also lots of routes to take up into the picturesque mountains, where you will find lots of pretty mountain villages and views that will take your breath away.
