Located in Destin, this lovely house for $970 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Newly renovated private home in gated subdivision. Private pool, 6 passenger golf cart Welcome to our newly renovated home, Grates Place, located within the highly sought after Destiny East. Destiny East is a gated beachside community, featuring impeccable amenities for your pleasure and creating vacation memories. Two pools, spa, fitness center, putting green, playground, tennis and basketball courts, IMAX theater. All community amenities are accessible with golf cart. Wristbands are required to access community pools and amenities. Easy .5 mi drive to public beach access at The Crab Trap which provides dedicated golf cart parking. This renovated home comes equipped with all the perks including a 6 passenger golf cart (must be driven by a licensed driver at all times). Golf cart with Bluetooth speaker. The city of Destin permits golf cart use on any roads with 35mph or less. Crossing Hwy 98 is acceptable to reach Destin Commons and Silver Sands. High speed WIFI 5 Samsung smart TVs with popular app accounts installed Keurig coffee maker 12 cup pot or pod. Uses standard basket filters. Samsung front load washer and dryer. Iron and full-size board. Tankless water heater for endless of supply of hot water. Oversized Master bedroom with private balcony. Master bath features jetted tub and separate shower. Jack and Jill bath for King Guest and Bunk room. Sleeper sofa on main level and twin sleeper in Bunk room. Twin inflatable mattress easily folds out in Bunk room. King bedroom featuring desk and private entry door on main level. Additional Full bath also located on main level Pool may be heated during winter months for an additional $50 per day For additional guest and property safety, exterior video monitoring on front and rear entrance/exits

The hosts were always available to communicate with and we were able to check in a little earlier since the property was ready early. Instructions were very helpful and the check-out process was minimal which was great compared to other places we’ve stayed at with a long extensive check out list. The heated pool was a major plus as well since we came in mid-November and having the bikes, golf cart, and gated community amenities was also a major plus. We would recommend staying here to anyone and we will book a stay here again!

The house is well maintained and the host,Shannon, is great at communicating on a timely basis for any issues or questions. Location to beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc.is outstanding. The amenities in Destiny East were great- pool, gym, pickleball court. Lastly, the golf cart was a fun and useful addition making getting around very simple.

Overall, another great family vacation. House is in a very nice community. This is a Very nice and well equipped Large house with plenty of space for our group of 10. We normally stay on the beach but this time we switched it up because of the nice private pool in backyard. Wonderful pool and patio and a lot of fun for the 4 kids especially. The golf cart was a real life saver for the group too and made trips to the beach fun and easy. We also used it for area restaurants. Beautiful area and the beach, water and weather were picture perfect. Shannon, the owner was very easy to work with on questions and a few problems we had during the week. Only gripe is nothing to do with the property but an over zealous neighborhood security guard that gave my son in a law a $50 ticket on his company truck he drove his family down with nightly for the first 4 nights! We found out they don’t like trucks that have a company logo on the door!! Most ridiculous reason for a ticket I’ve ever heard of and not sure I still understand. When we covered the logo up with some tape and paper they didn’t ticket the truck. Shannon the owner took care of things with this money grabbing BS and it didn’t effect our vacation. Family had a ton of fun overall and look forward to next years Destin vacation!!

This house was perfect for clan of 10. It was three generations. There was plenty of room to spread out and everybody had their own space. We had four babies, 2 and under. Shannon had purchased two pack and plays and a highchair prior to our trip. It definitely helped with our packing. We put both families with the small children upstairs and grandma and grandpa stayed on the main level. We thought the home was very well laid out and you couldn’t hear much unless you went into the main family room, where there wasn’t a lot of soundproof. The home was very very clean when we arrived and check-in was perfect. Shannon‘s communication before our trip, and addressing any questions we had was almost immediate. The golf cart was so fun! Each family would take it out for a short drive during the day. We also rode the bikes which were in great condition. There’s a huge bag of sand toys available as well as many floats in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked , and there were a few extras like additional toilet paper, dish soap, and coffee.

The house was very nice. Fit our family of 10 perfectly. The golf cart and bikes were an added bonus. With 10 people I would suggest more towels. We had 1 set of towels per person so with little kids we were washing towels every night. Had an issue with the alarm system which we weren’t aware the house even had one. There was no info on it. Also the pool heater didn’t work but the owners got someone there as soon as they could. We had 3 days of a beautiful heated pool. Close to the beach and in a very nice neighborhood. Would definitely rent again.

We had a great time at this property. Shannon, the owner, was very responsive and helpful. The golf cart was great because we had access to the beach from our neighborhood and it was also handy for getting to the neighborhood pickle ball courts and hot tub. We enjoyed the heated pool in the backyard since we came in January and the weather was not perfect. We enjoyed the nearby shopping and restaurants and would definitely come to this area again. Definitely one of our best family vacations!

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The property was clean, kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and there was plenty of room for our family of 9. The bikes, beach chairs & golf cart was an added bonus & was used to get us to the beach in 5 minutes.We loved playing pickle ball, basketball, using the fitness center & the hot tub at the community amenities. The heated pool & outdoor area at the house was so nice!! I just really don’t have words to describe how much we enjoyed the place!!!

After driving for 2 days it was great to arrive to a very nice, comfortable, clean beautiful home. Shannon was very pleasant to talk to and responded quickly. The granddaughters loved the pool ages 4 and 7. Would love to come back in the near future!!!

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Location was perfect. The house met all our needs. Beach was right across the street. Restaurants all in the area. We had a six person golf cart. We went everywhere in the area with it. It was like we were in a big resort. Bike riding one day was fun. Could not have found a better place. Owners were Great. We Will be back there next year.

Great Location!
We’ve been coming to Destin for the last 10 years and we found this location/home to be awesome!! The golf cart and the pool are the best amenities to this home. You can take the golf cart everywhere. The beach is very close as is shopping. We would definitely stay here again. Great communication from the owners. Easy check-in/out process.

Wonderful vacation!
Stayed at the end of March with family. The house was beautiful, as pictured. We loved having the pool and outdoor space. The neighborhood was wonderful with the work out center and playground. Enjoyed evening walks. House is close to everything! We enjoyed having the golf cart to load our beach items and take a short drive to the beach (less than 3 minutes). Parking was not an issue. Beaches and sand were beautiful! Shannon was very quick to respond! Would absolutely stay here again! We have stayed in various rentals and this was one of our favorites!!

Serenity and sun
This was the perfect home away from home for our family. The house had a calming effect as soon as we entered it. Spacious, comfortable bedrooms and living area. The kitchen included everything we needed to enjoy homemade breakfasts and dinners on the grill. The beach was enjoyed during the day, while the heated pool was utilized in the evenings. The golf cart made it easy to get around (and enjoy the clubhouse weight room and basketball court). Pure serenity. We'll be back!

Sister Trip
My sister and I met up in Destin to celebrate her birthday. What an amazing trip we had. From the initial booking, everything went as smoothly as it possibly could. Shannon and Todd made recommendations for us on dining and things to do. The check in was so easy and the property exceeded our expectations. The house was perfect, clean, spacious and well laid out. The neighborhood was beautiful and peaceful. The golf cart and beach cruisers were such an added bonus and made it so we didn’t even have to rent a car. We took advantage of having a private pool, but the community amenities are great as well. The beach was so close as well as several restaurants and stores. Shannon and Todd were available via phone and text with any questions we had throughout our stay. I would high recommend this property to anyone traveling to the area. You won’t be disappointed!
