A beautiful cottage on the edge of the woods. Cosy, quiet and well appointed, the perfect place to return to at the end of a long day walking in the surrounding countryside.
We didn't have any issues with the property, it was ideal for our needs.

The cottage is a 15 minute walk out of the town so it is very quiet. There are amazing views from the sitting area outside. The beds were comfy and the shower hot. Gary was very friendly and helpful and met us with the keys. There was very useful information about how things worked in the cottage (such as the TV) and I loved that all the switches were labelled. The wine and chocolate on arrival was a nice touch as were the fresh flowers. We would definitely stay again. Todmorden is a lovely town with lots of decent eateries nearby.
The main thing to be aware of is the quirky lay out. We were happy as there were just two of us and stairs are no problem but the kitchen and bathroom are downstairs and the lounge and two bedrooms upstairs. That being said this is a character property and it has been really nicely converted into a holiday cottage. Unless I missed them I don't think there was a freezer or coffee machine in the kitchen - maybe something to add going forward.
