Great central location, especially for a wedding at the local church - spacious comfy apartment everything supplied -tea,coffee milk . Fresh bedding and fluffy towels Easy communication with the owner .

Located very convenient to the town. Stylishly decorated. The apartment is on the ground floor and wonderfully cool on a summer's day.
The property was a little difficult to find. The host gives directions based on the location of rubbish bins. However, these are not fixed objects and are therefore not in the same position each time a guest arrives. There are a lot of old steps and slopes leading to the property and these are difficult to manage, especially with luggage. The hooks were not attached to the back of the door in one of the bedrooms. The shelf and drawer in the wardrobe space in the other bedroom was off its runner. The bathroom is very stylish, but there are not many hooks and the shower gel is on the floor - it's difficult to reach this on the slippery floor of the shower.

APPROACHING Property • ..Abit of a faff to get to via large steps, & cobbled slope upwards..felt abit like approching the 'adams family' building, very very over grown with weeds trees etc, then found the upper road which was alot easier, the main lower entry was also very overgrown an not kept well at all. Along side a small grave yard, the apartments where once a church/ school previously, a very interesting read about the fielden family online, tells of the history which is fascinating.
ARRIVAL INSIDE • Anti spaced area to flat one, had alot of cobwebs spiders , but generally ok,
Inside generally clean, again upper ceilings had cobwebs & spiders, perhaps due a deep clean, apart from this ..very nice lovely, upon opening blinds We then realised that the view was the small over grown neglected grave yard the graves lined along the apartment windows / walls ..about 12 inches from the windows,this didnt bother us. Would of like to of known beforehand though.
Furniture • excellent, lovely, nice quality ! better than what you normally get in rentals.
Towels & bedding • good quality very clean ! Perfect an plenty for us.
Kitchen • spotless! Includes washing machine an dishwasher, a bit crammed with the living room , but great standard ! Loved it.
Bathroom • perfect! The shower was really good very good quality and powerful, sink was a great design perfect.
Bedrooms • beds double size, abit small for us but the rooms are small, so understandable.
Hard very hard beds, we didnt get alot of sleep due to this but I suppose beds are more of a personal preference, decor lovely again. Great decor infact! We really liked the designs of furniture
We probably wouldn't return to this apartment, we did feel it was over priced, checking in and out was to late and to early for us ..not that this is a bad thing thats just our preference.

The property was comfortable and compact. Suitable for the three adults staying there.
Anyone who is disabled is recommended to ask to be dropped off at the top of the hill near the entrance as the steps leading up on the other side are very steep and could be difficult for anyone who has mobility issues.
