Cedarwood Lakehouse could not of been a better fit for our family. The location, the property, and the house checked all the boxes we look for in a vacation rental. This was our 15th annual family lake house vacation in the southeast and we already booked Cedarwood Lakehouse for 2024!! Kimberly is great to work with and was available throughout the booking process, checking in, and during our stay. She helped us find a boat rental and provided great insight to the surrounding areas. The house had everything you could need and more to enjoy a relaxing week on the lake. Our family is already looking forward to next summer!!! Thanks Kimberly!!!

We had a great time spending the weekend at the Lakehouse. My sister and her family along with our dad had a great time. Cousins got to spend time together. The table was large enough for all of us. Plenty of space to spread out. Lots of seating areas. The teenagers loved having their own bunk room and also took over the tv room downstairs. The dock was nice for swimming and sitting in the sunshine. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We love it.

Wonderful location on lake and very private. Beautiful home inside and out has everything you need for the week of family time. Children loved the bunk room and game/TV room downstairs with outside games too. Swimming deck and upper deck were great for enjoying lunch and watching everyone swim. Having a large group 2 frigs was very helpful for us. Thank you for all the little extras from the owner also. Had a wonderful time and would come back again.

My husband, son, two grandmothers and groomsmen stayed here for my son’s wedding. Accommodations were perfect for everyone. One groomsmen travels regularly and said this was the best place he has ever stayed - that the host “ had done everything you could want - perfectly”.

The property is very beautiful outside and inside with many amenities for everyone. You have so many options of things to do canoe, fire pit, bbq, game room, enjoy the view, etc). Beds are super comfortable and love that every room has their own bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed staying at Cedarwood Lakehouse. We had our kids ages 11 and 16, and our two dogs. The house was spacious and we each had our own space. The basement was a hit with our 11 year old son. We enjoyed our time by the lake. This is a great place if you are looking to be away from it all. It was an hour drive to Helen and only about 20 minutes to the grocery store. The bathrooms are a bit dated and all of the mattresses in the house are very firm. The beds would be my only gripe, but that is personal preference and has nothing to do with the wonderful home.

The listing was just as described. We enjoyed all aspects of the house and property. The only negative thing I could say is... This house is in the woods so if you don't like spiders. This house is not for you. There were spider webs everywhere. Not sure when the house was cleaned last before our arrival but it had been some time because of the amount of spider webs. The owners boat was in the slip so if you are looking for a dock that you can use the slip. This isn't the house for you. We had to tie up on the side which wasn't ideal when it listed the dock being usable. Just have the conversation with the owners before hand. Overall not a bad stay. House was fully stocked. We would probably go back.

Great house, well laid out and well stocked. Was not missing anything we needed during our stay. Dining room is spacious and covered deck was great for sitting and conversing. 2 level dock is fantastic for sitting up high over looking the lake and feels very private being so far from adjacent docks. All in all great experience and would rent again.

I can not recommend this rental with good conscious. Upon arrival you are greeted with several noxious odors. Clearly there have been smokers in this house. It was also quite dirty. We found mouse poop in the downstairs bathroom closet when unpacking and copious layers of dog hair. We actually spent several hours cleaning on our own vacation to make it more tolerable. When using the oven the first night, it billowed noxious smoke. The oven remained unusable the entire week. The upstairs guests were awakened the first night at 1 am by the smoke alarm as it needed new batteries. The downstairs guests were awake listening to mice chew furniture! Our attempts at capturing them were unsuccessful and on the third morning one mouse was found dead floating in the toilet! At this point the owners were contacted for several issues. A maintenance man came but was unsuccessful in getting the oven apart to clean it and simply poured draino in the upstairs shower as it wasn’t draining. This did nothing but now rendered the guest to be standing in ankle deep draino water. A pest control man came and set bait traps which rendered a 4th sleepless night. The downstairs hang out room, which is really a cool room for teens, has a horrible musty smell and required us medicating one of our children with an antihistamine. Despite these issues, we had a great time with family and friends. The yard leading to the dock and the dock itself are fantastic! The lake is stunning I did found the owners to be responsive until I asked for a night or two compensation due to the lack of sleep secondary to the mice infestation. I would not recommend this house to anyone with a strong sense of smell, allergies, or an aversion to mice!

Overall our stay was a great experience. The layout is great and the location is relatively quiet and protected from heavy traffic. We brought our own boat and several paddle boards. Every one was able to enjoy lots of tubing as well as several quiet trips on the paddle boards. In the evenings the kids all stayed down stairs and watched old TV shows with the grand parents while the parents went up stairs and read or watched movies together. There was plenty of room and this is the first lake house that allowed us to put all the kids in one room, comfortably. It is an older house so it's not perfect, and it is that time of year so there were a lot of spider webs, particularly at the dock. But to be fair, we would knock them down and they would be back the next morning. The home was clean, but not immaculate. I think overall, the family preferred this house over the others we have rented. And everything worked, which has not always been the case at other rentals.

The property was just like the pictures! We were most impressed with the cooking appliances/pots. Everything we needed was there. Beautiful location. The only critique we’d give the property is the AC. Some rooms were ice cold, others were warm. We couldn’t really find a sweet spot to keep everyone comfortable but the rest of the property features more than made up for that small issue!

We had a wonderful time! I have never stayed at a VRBO that was so well stocked. Already planning to come back next year!

Such a great home to relax at the lake. So many spaces to spread out and keep busy even without the lake and awesome dock!

Our family and bridesmaids stayed at this lake house for my daughters wedding (Toccoa Falls). We came all the way from Texas! It was absolutely PERFECT! Pictures do not do this house justice! It was beautiful! Kimberley has thought of every last detail. It was so nice to have the space to spread out. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the back deck overlooking the lake. Weddings can be stressful.. our time spent at this lake house somehow just seemed to bring the calm. So many memories were made that I will cherish forever!

Kimberly’s cabin exceeded all our expectations (everyone said how much better the house and view was than the listing made it out to be). The place was very spacious, well stocked, and clean. The weight room was used often and the toys were a great help with our baby. Just about everything you could want at a cabin, this cabin had. Check in and out process was effortless and Kimberly was very quick to reply in conversation. Excellent hostess and location. Highly recommended.

This property is gorgeous. The decor is amazing and very comfortable. The home has great WiFi for anyone who needs to work or stream. When we got to the property the grass a on the ping side out back, one message and there was someone there to cut it 30 minutes later, great service! The Lake is beautiful with a great dock for lounging and swimming. Highly recommend this location.

The house was so inviting and comfortable that we changed plans and instead of going out to eat we stayed in the house and enjoyed each other's company.

This was our first time in Toccoa and everything was perfect with this property. The house was huge and stocked with the necessities you normally bring on a trip. The room sizes are large and the basement was an added bonus for our teens. We even took the canoe out to cross the SC border! Short drive to hiking, waterfalls and Helen GA kept us busy. However, the yard and lake was enough if you don't care to travel. The host was very nice and communicated immediately. This house will stay on our list as one to revisit.

Love this property, it’s not Quartz and shiplap, but it is a well laid out beautiful view large lot private home, we had three generations but all just loved the experience, thank you Kimberly for providing everything from charging pads to the basics that we never had to go to Walmart once

This cabin was great for a weekend getaway on the lake. Plenty of room, very clean and very nice.
