The host was very accommodating and was quick to respond when we reached out. Loved the location and even though the kitchen is small it served our purposes.

This property was perfect for a stay packed with activities. We had many off site commitments so didn't really get to hang out and take advantage of the beautiful patio. Still, it was so nice to have the huge en-suite bedrooms to organize our wardrobes between events. The property offers some unexpected amenities that were much appreciated, such as a clothes steamer! Lots of nice touches. Great location. Easy access to the wonderful Langham Huntington hotel. Our host, Chris was very accommodating and attentive.

Recently our family finished a ten-day stay at host Chris's VRBO in Pasadena. Chris maintained excellent communication before, during and after our trip. He clearly laid out check-in/check-out logistics such as gate entry and card access, and quickly resolved a minor issue with our card keys gaining entry as soon as we contacted him. The cottage rooms were in clean condition with functioning utilities (air conditioning, showers) and equipment (refrigerator, television, and the kitchen coffee machine). The internet connectivity held up well the entire visit. It was a comfortable stay, and we recommend this VRBO to any family looking to stay in Pasadena. Thanks Chris!

The home is in a great location. Right across the street from the beautiful Langham hotel. And close to many restaurants in Pasadena. The master bedrooms were very spacious. Chris was very attentive and checked in with us often to see if we needed anything. We enjoyed our stay!

This is one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. You can tell they take a lot of time in taking care of the place. It is the small details that really speak volumes. For example, the fans and both of the rooms were both Dyson blade-less, the toilet seats had bidets and were heated and the fridge is a smart fridge. You can tell the owners care about the quality of what goes into the place! Everything was very clean when we arrived. We had daily communication from the manager, which was very helpful and they even provided some tips on what to do in the area. The garden is absolutely beautiful and we even saw some hummingbirds. The location is perfect because it is right behind the Langham hotel which we had access to but it is in a small neighborhood so it was absolutely quiet all the time. No hotel noise at all but still all the benefits of staying at the Langham where we had breakfast every morning and were able to use the pool and hot tub. 10/10 would recommend!

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 days at this property. We were in LA to visit our son who lives in Hollywood. While we enjoy some sightseeing, we really enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere provided by this property and the surrounding area of Pasadena. The property is exactly as described and having access to the Langham Hotel grounds is a plus. This will definitely become our "LA Headquarters" for visits with our son.

We loved our stay in the cottage. It is in a fabulous location; lots of beautiful parks and lovely shops within walking distance. The owners are very responsive and concerned for our comfort. Any concerns shared were addressed satisfactorily. We enjoyed it very much.

My sister & I stayed for her 40th birthday weekend and this place was perfect. Lovely grounds to walk, just a short distance to Langham where we walked to breakfast. Cozy rooms, safe & quiet everything you need. Thank you Chris!

Great area behind the Langham! Very safe and quiet area which was nice. We didn’t get to explore much because of some crazy weather but looked beautiful. There is a unit below this condo that is normally vacant and was for our stay but we were a bit surprised to see that and were slightly bummed to not be able to use the back patio, but it was a great stay with lots of space. And the host communicated quickly with us whenever we had questions.

Our stay was just perfect! We four family members were close to the rest of our family who live in Pasadena but didn't have enough room to accommodate us all.
Three of the four of us needed to work remotely at various times during our stay, and the two desks in the cottage made our work comfortable and easy. The cottage is soundly built as well, so virtual meetings never bothered those in the other rooms. The wifi ran smoothly, so everyone could do what they needed to do when they needed to do it.
The grounds of the hotel where the cottage is located are just lovely! We accessed the hotel's amenities, which made the stay even more fun for everyone in our party.
Chris, the property manager, was easy to contact at any point, and all instructions regarding checkin, checkout, and parking were clear.
We will definitely stay here again when our family gathers in the Pasadena area. Thank you, Chris, for facilitating a fabulous stay in a lovely location!

First, we arrived during a torrential rainstorm. This complicated and confused our arrival in addition to blowing away our plans for a long "Beautiful Pasadena Weekend" (gardens, museums, neighborhood walk-and-bike-abouts, outdoor dining).
So, we were essentially housebound with short forays to the adjacent Langham Resort and nearby Old Town.
Under the circumstances, it was a superior place to be stuck sheltering. It was cozy and comfortable. Shortcomings were "inconvenient" like it taking several minutes for hot/warm to arrive to the showers, plus one of the shower heads blew off, leaving a garden hose effect for that shower. These faults are fixable and will be. I expect to be returning--under more typical SoCal weather conditions--to "Anchorage" and I want to leave an enthusiastic recommendation for it.

Two wonderful bedrooms and a marvelous terrace, beautifully landscaped (If only it had been warmer) next to the grand Langham (In my day the Huntington).
Kitchen/den/television only ok, but I would and will return as long as the property is available.

Although the party was disrupted by a cancellation by our daughter who was unable to make it my wife and I enjoyed spending time with our son, his wife and most importantly our granddaughter.
When I got home I got a message from the host saying they found a shirt I had forgotten and since it was one my wife told me she liked I asked if it could be mailed and I would pay for it but it came back to me free of charge, so thank you very much for your kindness

This cottage was perfect for my weekend stay. The grounds are lovely, the host was easy to contact and very responsive. The restrooms were very clean and the bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. I love the neighborhood and the access to the beautiful hotel restaurant was just what we needed after a long day at a funeral. My stay was extremely pleasant and I will definitely be back! Thank you!!!

Beautiful cottage in the best neighborhood in Pasadena. With access to the langham hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer we enjoyed it so much! 2 huge bedrooms and 2 baths with kitchen supplied with coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. Large flat screen tv in living area between the 2 bedrooms. Fresh flowers, snacks and bottled water was a nice surprise and much appreciated. The property manager Chris is very nice and helpful to your needs. Hope to be back soon!

Property is as described and Chris is very attentive to making sure you are taken cared of. A great location if you happen to be in the Pasadena area. The only negative thing I can mention is I didn’t get a chance to stay here long enough! Will definitely be back when my travels takes me to this location.

My family had a wonderful stay! It was perfect for the four of us! Each couple having their own large bedroom and En Suite Bathroom! A slice of heaven! Weekend family getaway
My parents, my kids and I stayed at the cottage for a weekend while we were in town for a cousin’s wedding. I used to live in San Marino and also got married at what is now the Langham hotel, so there is a personal significance to me. This is the best location because it gives you quick access to Pasadena and nearby freeways, with even a Tesla charging station about 5 minutes away.
It was so lovely to be able to wake up and take my puppy for a walk around the beautiful and historic. Langham hotel and property.
The rooms were spacious and since it is a gated property, I felt completely safe leaving the cottage unlocked.
Chris was easy to communicate, accommodating with our requests, and replied back very quickly! I would absolutely stay at this property again!

The owner was responsive, property was well appointed and clean. The location is very secure with gated entrance. This is a "shoes off" house. The bathrooms do not have tankless hot water heaters so plan on letting the water run 4-5 minutes until hot.
