The charming ocean-inspired interior features a gorgeous wood-look tile fireplace, 1 love seat and a sectional with a queen sofa sleeper (updated 2024), . Slab granite counters and a subway tile backsplash enhance the gourmet kitchen, which is equipped with dishes, pots and pans, and serving pieces. The primary retreat has a new tiled tub/shower combo (updated 2024) and the second bedroom offers a tiled walk-in shower (updated 2024). Make My Vacation also provides all linens and towels, beach chairs and beach towels. The Living Room TV is provided for your entertainment, as well as free wireless Internet. We enjoyed our stay in Oceanside. It seemed pretty mellow at the complex. Pool was warm, hot tub nice. The unit itself could use some updating as others have mentioned. Parking is convenient with a dedicated spot. We loved feeding the koi.

Nice but needs some love, fireplace didn’t work, a few heaters didn’t work . Clean but a few issues, for example primary bedroom bathroom had a toilet seat that didn’t fit the toilet. Very very cold when we arrived and window was open in guest bedroom bathroom so even colder inside then it should have been. Tv in living room very hard to use and had no roky even though there was a remote for one. Sliding glass door didn’t lock. Beach chairs were very large and hard to carry to the beach. No coffee. The other unit we stayed in had a Kuerag and coffee for a few days. We arrived very late due to travel delay and were disappointed to not even have one morning of coffee. Little touches go along way.

We love staying at North Coast Village. The proximity to the beach, pool and hot tub make it a great central location for a family traveling with young children. This is the first time we stayed in this unit. It was clean. The kitchen had everything week needed (pots/pans/can openers/etc). Check in was easy.

The rental was clean, had all the dishes and everything needed. Had a beautiful view to the garden and was very spacious. This was our second time staying at this rental and we really enjoyed it. Although there isn’t an ocean view, the garden makes up for it, and the pool, jacuzzi, and beach are all a very close walk of 2-3 minutes.

We had a very nice stay. The only glitch was the Wifi never worked very well for us. The master bathroom shower and tub probably needs replacing. It’s in fairly poor condition. Everything else was fine.

This condo was nice, great location close to the harbor and the beach and a short walk to the pier. Everything was clean and comfortable. There is a wagon, a boogie board, a small pop up shade, and some sand toys as well as beach chairs to take down to the beach. Everything went well and we would definitely book again. Very family friendly. They did not have a can opener though, that I could find. Also the largest pan was a little small if you have a large group to cook for, but we made it work!

A very nice place to stay! The balcony doesn’t face the ocean but that was just fine. It’s just a short walk through the association grounds (a couple of minutes) to the beach and we didn’t sit inside anyway. Loved the location! Very clean and we found no problems. Beautiful grounds!! Parking garage is beneath the condo and an elevator makes getting your bags to the condo a snap. A side note, the beach towels supplied by the condo are found in a cabinet between the kitchen and bedroom. We didn’t find them until the last day as we were leaving, which again was no problem. We had our own. I highly recommend this place.

This unit was just ok. It could use a little updating. Especially in the kitchen. It didn't have everything that we needed. I had to borrow items for another unit and the dishwasher was terrible! It doesn't even clean the dishes. The coffee pot was filthy and broken. That being said, when we contacted the rental office they apologized and tried to bring a new coffee pot the first morning. The couch bed sheets were stained. But other than that it was fine and meet or needs.

Beautiful landscaping on the grounds, nice jacuzzi. A few issues: 1)TV box taped to TV, with tape residue on screen. 2)fireplace didn't work. 3)tiles missing on shower shelf, with mold in corners. 4) security issue with ground level window NOT lockable! 5) no coffee filters or coffee. 6) no shampoo or conditioner. 7) bathtub non functional (needs a drain plug).

Our family has vacationed in the Oceanside area 4 times and we have always had a great time. The North Coast village property is a perfect location. They have beautiful landscaping and a great pool / spa area. And you can’t beat the proximity to the beach. This unit was adequate for our needs. There were some improvements that would have made it better. The bathrooms were a bit outdated. Some new toilets, tub and tiling would go a long way! Also the master bedroom really needs some black out curtains. The light coming from the walk way outside was extremely bright. While the master bed was comfortable the beds in the 2nd room where my kids slept were rickety. Overall this did not put a damper on our vacation and we had a wonderful time. This was our 2nd time staying at North Coast Village and we would definitely stay at the complex again. The check in and out process with Make My Vacation was extremely easy and while we had no problems while we were there the app seemed like a fast way to get ahold of anyone should you need to.

We enjoyed most of everything. The beds were comfortable. It was well stocked with what we needed. We loved the amenities, but we did have to wash the dishes before we could use them. There was stuck on hard cheese in the grater and a greasy film over the dishes. We washed them and enjoyed the rest of the trip.

Everything was to our satisfaction except an issue with the ants. I had to use pesticide spray to get rid of bunch ants in the main restroom. The area is beautiful with easy access to the ocean. I would highly recommend this property if you don’t mind dealing with insects.

Overall our stay was positive but some areas of improvement:
THE GOOD - unit exactly as pictured & good size, gated community, lovely & well kept grounds, parking garage was clean & safe, laundry room nicest I’ve seen, beach is great with awesome views, close proximity to many things
THE BAD: unit is in bad need of maintena..livingroom furniture were filthy and need cleaning or to be replaced. Pads on deck chairs are badly stained/dirty. Areas that need to be painted in master bath, closet where it’s been patched or chipped. Stove needs replacement..is rusty on front, and some bedroom nightstands are worn. The master bathtub has to be re-enameled or replaced because it has very visible deterioration of its coating. Shower door handle in 2nd bedroom is crooked and shower ledge near window in master is badly chipped and rotting. The worse was ants..and let me say I understand that ants can be a problem when you are on the beach but not in the shower. The shower faucets did not cover the openings (another bad look) and we had ants just streaming out of those openings by the dozens. I spent one day just drowning them with shower wand so family wouldn’t freak out. Vents in the bathroom ceilings were yellowed and need to be washed. Dining room table and master bath overhead light didn’t work nor did a couple of the heaters (which we needed because we had a very cold snap).
All things said, our stay was good and I would stay at this location again but not this unit.

This condo is in a great location—right by the beach. It also had great amenities like hot tub, gym and pool. As for the apartment, it was not as well stocked as other VRBOs we have stayed at. It had bar soap in the bathrooms but that is all. Kitchen had very basic stuff and no extras like foil or Saran Wrap or stuff like that. The heater in the living room was not working so it was pretty cold, but they were very responsive and got us a space heater. Overall a great stay.

The property is in a beautiful location. The grounds are lovely, but pretty confusing. We arrived at 9pm to check in and were handed a map and a general "go that way to park". No real information as to how to reach our rented condo after parking. We wandered around in the Jungle(grounds) for at least 20 minutes before we were finally able to find the condo. It is clean and looks exactly like the posting. You do have to leave the grounds to get to the beach, but it's a very short distance. Loved the master bedroom bed! The pillows leave something to be desired though...especially in the 2nd bedroom (this is a personal preference). Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The host provided an umbrella for us upon our request, which was very appreciated. We were also allowed a slightly later check out since we had a later flight.

Great condo, location, and overall rental experience. The amenities of the pool, hot tub area, gardens, beach access, etc are all great and ideal. Spacious unit and great location. Would definitely stay again. The only negative is there is an ant problem. It is right on the beach, and understandable for a beach location in SoCal, but the ants are definitely a problem. Too many other important great marks are met though to let ants be much of an issue for me.

We love staying at north coast village! This property has a pack n play which was so helpful for us. We also really liked the fans in the place as we were able to get a nice breeze! It’s a short walk to the beach!

Our family loves North Coast Village. We have very young children so being close to the beach and having a swimming pool makes North Coast Village a wonderful vacation spot.
The unit itself was good. We were a little disappointed about how the unit was cleaned prior to our arrival (the floor was very dirty as well as the freezer and utensils in the kitchen) but we contacted management and they said that they could get that taken care of. We ended up cleaning up most stuff on our own because we had children who were napping and couldn't leave the condo. But we were grateful for the response and willingness to resolve the issue provided by the management.
The beds were comfortable, the couches not so much but we didn't mind because we didn't need to use those for sleeping.
Being on the first floor made it nice for packing and unpacking our things. You are very close to the stairs.
We didn't need to use the beach "toys" because we brought our own so I can't really review their quality.
Overall, after the cleaning issue, we had a wonderful stay.
