We stayed in this sweet, cozy home for a weekend so we could enjoy a get away and visit family in Tennessee. It was perfect! Would definitely recommend it!!

A lovely little house with woods on 2 sides. The hill getting to the house may be a little intimidating as the uphill traffic is moving quite quickly downhill by the time you see them and the hill is quite steep there. But it is a neighborhood road and doesn't seem to experience any significant traffic other than the typical commute times. The house itself is very well appointed and cozy. I found it to be a perfect fit for my husband & me. Loved that there was coffee, condiments & means to store leftovers. The washer & dryer was wonderful too. Walk to downtown. My favorite part tho, was what was in the library. Loved that the owner had a field guide for native NC wildflowers. Especially since I was doing a tour at the Bluff Mtn. Conservancy. I had stayed at another property in W. Jefferson and I really liked that house. Well, I like this one better. Will stay here again.

Nice little neighborhood, and beautiful house. Clean and nicely decorated. All appliances available. Living room furniture very comfortable. Walking distance from downtown. Owner very responsive. Easy check-in. Full bath with tub a plus for anyone with creaky joints. Books and games for time in. Loved it!!

Clean, cute ranch was so convenient to Downtown. Exactly what we were looking for. Master was nice, guest bed could have been better. Kitchen was well stocked. Fine for a weekend getaway!

Great property…clean, convenient, and cool! Sat on porch every evening to visit neighbor cat, watched deer across the road, could hear music from concert on Backstreet one night. Well stocked kitchen and baths, comfy beds. Love that it’s all on one level. Will definitely choose this property again.

This is the second year we have stayed in this beautiful and well-maintained house. The location was perfect for us. It is literally a two-minute drive into West Jefferson with wonderful restaurants and lots to do. The weather in West Jefferson was beautiful. The house had everything you could need or want, and the owner was wonderful to work with. We would strongly recommend this house as THE place to stay in West Jefferson.

This was our second trip to the Carolina Place. It's in a perfect spot and the place is really comfy. Will be booking it again next year.

Two 70+ adults stayed here. Very comfortable and convenient for us. Quiet and nice views all over town. House had everything you might need for a weeks stay. Super easy check in and out. A grab bar for second shower would have been helpful, at our age, but that was our only concern.

My husband and I enjoyed your cozy home. It was very clean and well stocked. Location was perfect. I did walk downtown to West Jefferson which is a vibrant small mountain town. I don't even have a suggestion to improve the home!!! We plan to return to this rental!!!

The location was great and and the neighborhood is quiet. We loved hearing the church bells ringing at 6:00pm. The only setback was the spotty wi-fi in the mountains and the house has a ROKU TV that needs wi-fi in order to use it. Be ready to plug and unplug the TV several times during your stay.

Very nice property. Very clean. Great location within walking distance of downtown West Jefferson. Easy drive to Boone. House fully stocked with all essentials. We are already planning a trip back. Hope to be able to stay here again.

This property was cute, convenient, cozy and clean. The beds were super comfortable. It had everything we needed and extras I didn't expect, like shampoo and conditioner. The location is amazing and it was easy to reach as well as so close to town. The owner was delightful to deal with. I highly recommend it.
