My fiancé and I stayed here for our EngagementMoon/New Year’s trip. There is everything you need and more here for a fantastic stay. Plenty of space and comfortable beds. Quality linens and provided toiletries are a nice touch. Kitchen appliances, cookware, and utensils are adequate for meal preparation. Did watch a movie on the smart TV (use your streaming login and make sure to logout). The games and area information were a great touch and was appreciated. Drive to Oak Creek is about 15-20 minutes. Recommend going to Montezuma Well and Montezuma Castle!!!

We booked at the last minute because we decided to go to the Out of Africa Zoo (which was great) and then do some wine tasting the next day. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The spa and the stars at night was a huge bonus. Great place!

We loved this house - cute, quirky, charming. And it was perfect for our first trip to the Sedona area. We did wineries in Cottonwood, drove to the Grand Canyon, and hiked and shopped in Sedona. The home was comfortable and provided everything we needed, including and especially the hot tub that overlooks the valley.

Property was excellent. Home was clean and very comfortable, super cute and cozy. Had everything we needed. Views are spectacular, easy to find- star gazing is amazing. I would and probably will book this property again. I liked being outside the hub of Sedona, yet it is close enough to spend the day and have your own privacy in the evening and watch the gorgeous sunrise in comfort on the front patio. Very clean hot tub was a great bonus!

This cottage was clean and pretty nice to stay in. In that sense it was served our needs very nicely. They were very responsive when I messaged them about a drip in the kitchen sink. The drip didn't bother us, but I wanted to let them know about it in case they were paying for their water. The hot tub is a winner too!
The location is strange. I wouldn't say it's close to Sedona. It's a 30-40 minute drive to the town of Sedona, assuming you don't hit a huge line of cars entering Sedona from the south, which seems to be the regular pattern and makes it even longer. We ended up taking walks south of the town to avoid that mess. Lake Montezuma is not really a town. It's mostly modest homes scattered on the landscape. The closest supermarket is about 15-20 mins away in Oak Creek, and the only place to eat close by seems to be a Thai restaurant, which is actually REALLY GOOD. Some of the best Thai food we've had, and we eat a lot of Thai food.
At the end of the day, we were happy to not be in the middle of the craziness that is Sedona.

There was no dishwasher, the air conditioner didn't cool the cabin enough to make us comfortable, the blinds were so warped that you could not close them properly, the deck had several soft spots, and the walkway was absolutely dangerous. However, that being said, if viewed as a painted cabin, there is less disappointment. The view of the stars was magnificent. Sitting in the hot tub was relaxing. The quiet was a wonderful thing to experience.

Be aware that there is a small incline to walk up to the cabin and steps to navigate. We were fine, but it could be challenging if you have mobility issues. The hot tub was clean and a great addition......relaxation and stars galore. The beds were great -I suggest curtains in the front bedroom as it gets the morning sun and was very bright very early. Overall - amazing lil' cabin in a cute lil' town. Make sure & try Robbie's for great food & a fun time.

Cute, quirky (quote from a Midwesterner) and everything we needed. The 30 min ride to Sedona and Its awesome trails was a delightful and scenic ride. Downtown Cottonwood and the hillside town of Jerome ere great. Both are must-see places.

Our Stay was terrific and the place was great. We did not enjoy much of the jacuzzi much because it was raining. We used it one time and it was great.
Cooking was a significant pain the smoke detector was going off all the time and it forced us to open doors, let the heat out, and cool air in, it was constantly alarming, so if you planning on cooking better think twice.
Besides that, we went to Phoenix, Flagstaff, and Sedona, just a few hours away and on a day trip.
The last thing it is easy to get to, so you can come back home late, it is just off the highway.
