Lovely accommodation, very homely and no real issues.
I did not like the fact that check in is after 5pm (Friday), especially when the nights were getting darker earlier and the location is not the easiest to find at night, or the fact that we had to leave by 9am on the Monday morning. I had incorrectly used the wrong date and there was no flexibility to use the property for the following weekend and/or a time in the future within the price range. Despite emailing about the date issue in advance I believe that there was no flexibility and no empathy or discretion used which could have been an option by the host.
