About this house rental
Beautiful lake front, boat dock, kayaks, near Clemson. This large family home sits on beautiful lake Hartwell. Lake Hartwell is famous for great fishing and many water sports. Just a short drive to Clemson University and many beautiful waterfalls. The house has seven bedrooms, five full baths and 2 half baths. Four of the bedrooms have their own private bath. Sleeps 16 very comfortably The house has two well stocked kitchens which allows for plenty of space to spread out. There is a two story gas fireplace, screened porch with lots of seating, large game room with pool table, ping-pong, etc. enjoy the water pad, 5 single kayaks and 2 junior kayaks, and 2 paddle boards, 3 person canoe.

Three generations had the pleasure of enjoying this home and each other for a full week. What a treasure!! The home has a wonderful layout providing lots of communal spaces as well as areas of retreat. Board games, puzzles, kids toys abound and of course lots of water “toys” as well. Everything provided was enjoyed throughout the week including the massive pool and pickleball/tennis/basketball/clubhouse area. The food and beverages available at the pool are varied and affordable! Jump Rock is right across the water from the house and provided lots of entertainment. On the advice from the owners, we rented a pontoon boat at Harbor Lights. They were amazing and it was a great experience as well. The owners patiently answered my many questions as I prepared for 15 people to share the space. The 2 kitchens were perfect for dealing with food allergies. The upstairs remained completely gluten free and we sat 8 adults and 7 kids around the table each night for dinner. What a gift! This was the first of what we hope to be an annual extended family vacation together. We all enjoyed it immensely! Thanks for getting us off to a great start of making forever memories together!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The house was well equipped with everything we needed and stocked with plenty of supplies, which made our stay comfortable and stress-free. We hosted our son’s graduation party here, and the space was perfect for entertaining family and friends with plenty of room for everyone. The location is beautiful, and the owners were incredibly helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Wow! It was great. Fully equipped, stocked, and clean! We had a Ladies Retreat and it fit us perfectly. We enjoyed the surroundings, hot tub, and fire pit. There was plenty of space to sit and have meaningful conversations, gathering spaces, and also play games. In the 20 yrs we have been doing the retreat, this house was the best supplied. We always bring extra TP (important when gathering with this many ladies) and we did not have to use our stash! LOL Sandra was prompt with answers and very helpful. The ladies said this is a winner!

This property was perfect! Both kitchens were well-appointed, the listing was true to the home, it was clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of outdoor seating. My book club has an annual retreat, and we all agreed to book this home again.
