Nestled in Kingsbury, this attractive house for $828 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Permit # DSTR1228P Occupancy Rules: *Min age to rent any property is 25. *Per county rules: Weddings are NOT allowed of any kind or size, on the property or at the house. You will be shut down immediately and will lose the security deposit and will be subject to more fines. *You are only allowed 10 people at any time at the house. This includes any dinners or gatherings you may have. *Please help us to keep our home a vacation rental. NOISE ORDINANCE 9pm to 8am DAILY and is very strict in this neighborhood. * Fireworks, wood fire pits, and charcoal BBQ's are illegal in the Lake Tahoe Basin. **Parking: 4 cars allowed at house at any time. There is no street parking per county and fire safety rules. Pursuant to DCC 20.622.040 (D) (6) Failure to park in the designated parking spaces and/or display the parking permit may result in a citation and fine of $500 to the responsible party or person of the vehicle. You must display the parking pass in both vehicles during your stay. They are in the rental house. *Please be prepared for winter driving conditions as we are above 7k feet in elevation, and we do get snow. . This large and open 5 bedroom home is great winter or summer. Very close to down town where most of the shopping, restaurants, casinos and Gondola are located. The yard is a great pace for sledding in the winter, there is a hill along side the house making it a great spot for small children. There are 3 large living rooms, a full bar (bring your own beer) on the bottom floor complete with a dishwasher, mini fridge, coffee maker and ice maker. The garage is available to renters for parking and storage. The back yard has a great deck overlooking the forest with patio table for dining, a private hot tub, and plenty of room for the family to play. The main floor, top floor, has the large gourmet kitchen open to the living room with a cozy fireplace. There are bedroom 1, master, with a king and full private bathroom with a large jetted tub. Bedroom 2 and 3 have queen beds. There is a full shared bathroom in the hallway. The entry into the garage is off of the living room. The laundry room is off of the kitchen. On the lower 2nd level is another large living room with a wet bar, big screen TV and fireplace. Bedroom 4 is the second master with a king and a jack-and-jill bathroom that connects to a bonus room office (there is no door on this room per the fire dep). Bedroom 5 has 2 queen beds, a baby crib and a private full bathroom. On the lower 3rd level is a very large 3rd living room with a big screen TV , a full bathroom and fireplace. There is also a full bar with an ice maker, coffee maker, mini fridge, dishware and is the perfect place to entertain! Your family will love how cozy this house is and it feels so far away from town yet only a 3 minute drive to the down town area! ~ This home does NOT have AC. Permit # DSTR1228P

I loved this property, there was plenty of space for myself, my adult children, and their friends. the only issue I had was working the television, and the mini fridge on the second floor leaked water. Other than that the stay was amazing! It was a 15-minute drive to town, The house was equipped with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils. The hill in the backyard was perfect for big and littles to sled down. The hot tub was set at perfect temperature and ready to use. We will make this an annual trip and stay.

The location of this house is hard to beat for being quiet but still close to state line and anything you could want from South Lake. It's a big house with three levels. At least three bedrooms had visible mouse droppings and stained sheets. There is a trash compactor but no bags with rotten food left inside, don't open it. The garage does have drying cabinets but they're locked. Bath tubs were very grimy and one shower head fell apart. The middle floor has a dishwasher filled with mold. Underwear was found in one bathroom and under one nightstand plus a tampon in a couch. The entertainment systems didn't work reliably. With better management, this would be a fantastic place. I told them these problems on day two and no offer was made to clean or fix anything. Not even to unlock the garage cabinets that are advertised to us. In the early evening of the second day, the house alarm went off. The screen showed carbon monoxide so we evacuated. I called the pm, he said we can either go home and get reimbursed the remaining nights or move to a different house and that he was in the way to see if it was real. While waiting to hear back I called the alarm company. They told me that there were two current triggers, fire-zone 1 and CO-zone 11. The sensors were failing, there weren't actual air quality issues apparently. This is concerning because if the sensors don't work, how do you know you're safe. There was nothing done to fix that inconvenience.

This was a very spacious house with three levels, great for a multiple-family ski weekend. Property manager was responsive to a couple of minor issues we had.

We booked this cabin to celebrate my boyfriends birthday with a group of friends. It's massive and provides everyone with a lot of space. The location was perfect - less than 10 min drive from the main strip. Management was super attentive and was easy to reach when we had questions. Would book this cabin again!

We loved the place. It's huge and has a great location right next to national park land -- you can take a hike up there and go sledding, just walking right out the door. Unfortunately, it is not a 6-bedroom as advertised. One bedroom doesn't have a door, which means it is not a quiet private place to sleep. Fortunately, we had one member of our party cancel at the last minute, so we really only needed 5 bedrooms. But we paid a lot extra to find a 6-bedroom place, and the listing was misleading in this regard. Otherwise a great place!

We had a great time here. This home is tucked away from the business of stateline while still being close to it all. The home is wonderful and offers 3 large livings spaces allowing everyone to enjoy their trip their way. We were disappointed to see that the outdoor spaces such as deck, patio, stairs, tables, chairs, hot tub and fire pit were left very dirty and coated in yellow pollen/dust. I spent the first 2 hours of our stay sweeping outside to prevent our clothes from getting ruined. No shower toiletries provided either which would have been nice to know before hand for a group this size. All in all a great stay though!

I stayed here for my 30th birthday celebration and this was an absolutely perfect property. We were able to cook dinner for 10, grill outside, and comfortably sleep with plenty of bathroom space. 10/10 experience, and I imagine its just as good in the winter time as well.

My family loved this VRBO for our gathering taking place at a hotel nearby. The location was absolutely fabulous for hiking, meeting up with others, and going downtown to restaurants.
The neighborhood was a bit noisy, which was sort of humorous, since there are such rigid noise restrictions on VRBO customers. Neighbors had loud barking dogs, lawn maintenance at 8am, and sawing metal at midnight. I'm assuming that is not always the case. If these noises were gone, the neighborhood is very, very peaceful.
We loved the woodsy setting, enjoyed sitting on the many decks, and thought the hottub was fabulous!!!! We would definitely stay here again.
The house is huge. It was way larger than we actually needed, but it was nice to have all the extra room.

Overall the house is nice, clean and spacious. The kids enjoyed the slope on the side of the house for sledding so we did not have to go far. There are few things they have to fix:1. Water leak from the shared bathroom upstair to downstair. So we had to go to another room’s private bathroom for shower.2. The bed room downstair does not have the door. It looks like there was a door but got removed. So if you need privacy, this house is like 5 bedroom, not 6.Some nice features I can suggest is to upgrade the TV to smart TV, and have some board games to play. After playing with the snow, the kids have nothing to watch and play, other than their ipad again.

We enjoyed stay at great place. Spacious place with lot of amenities. Enjoyed sleding on backyard snow. Common bathroom had drain clogged at check-in. Customer service fixed it within 2 hours. 5 mins drive to casinos and restaurants. We will stay next summer again.

Nice and clean property at quiet location. Common bathroom had blocked drain. Customer service sent plumber within 3 hours to fix it. Kitchen microwave stopped heating the food 2nd day but we started using lower level microwave. Ample space for up to 10 people to enjoy this house. Highly recommended.

We booked the rental for a corporate partners retreat with 7 of us traveling and the house had more than enough space. Nice open concept and kitchen and several entertainment areas on multiple floors. Only negatives were no shampoo/soap in the bathrooms and for some reason one bedroom had no door and opened out into a louder common area.

5 bedrooms, not 6
Overall we were happy with our stay. Unfortunately, the listing states 6 bedrooms and there are only 5 private rooms with beds and another room that is missing a door that the landlord considers a “bedroom.” Also unfortunately, the landlord was unwilling to work us to give a proportional refund due to this bad information and one of our party members not having any privacy through our stay.

Our group had such a great time here! The house is beautiful, spacious and in a great location close to everything. The kitchen is fully stocked but the bathrooms don’t have shower gel, shampoo etc. so be sure to bring your own. We would definitely recommend this spot for any larger groups.

This was a great property that accommodated our group really well. We were able to relax in different parts of the home, and cook meals in the kitchen as there were plenty of cookware. Everyone really loved the house and all it had to offer!

My family stayed at this location for a total of one week. The location was less than a 10 minute drive to skiing at Heavenly, and grocery store, which was perfect for what we needed.
The home was clean, but over the course of the week, we endured issues with the exception of 1 day. Our issues were related to loss of hot water and heating, and an alarm siren going off behind a locked door, numerous times.
We immediately reached out to the phone number that was provided, and hours later had someone stop by to assess. Since this is something we dealt with for a majority of the trip, we were unable to make the most of our vacation (we wanted to be home when the representative inspected the home to amend the issue).
I wrote an email to the management company with the hopes that they could compensate us -- after all, we did pay a hefty price for a service (relaxing family vacation in a beautiful home), and we surely did not receive that. The management company never replied back.
Although our time outside the home was wonderful (perfect weather, beautiful ski conditions), I would definitely not return to this home. I would prefer to rent a home through AirBnb or VRBO like we have many times in the past, where there are more amenities, and where hosts reply much quicker and resolve issues.

At this price point I think accurate reviews are very important, so here are the facts: Stayed 12/26/21-12/30/21 (we cut a day short to get out of town before the next storm hit)
We had to be in the house more than normal because Tahoe was literary shut down for 2 days after receiving 15 feet of snow in 7 days and counting. That made all of deferred maintenance of the home really stand out.
As noted in a previous review the upstairs shower next to master leaks into the ceiling on the 2nd floor and there is plaster coming down on the 2nd level. The shower knob came off in my hand that controlled the rain shower that didn't work and dripped cold water on you during the shower. My sons shower on the 2nd floor came out scalding so they couldn't use that one either. The towels we cleaned but had nasty stains on many of them. Now to the basic stuff that is expected at this price point. The big fireplace in the main room featured in the pics didn't work at all. We bought batteries for the remote and it still didn't work. TV's no basic instruction on how to work the numerous remotes for each TV and most them needed batteries that we had to buy. I have teenager's so after awhile we figured it out. Remote on 2nd level (Logitech) didn't work at all and had to manually control the sound which kept shutting off because I think it was getting to hot. I couldn't find any snow shovels so I had to use Honda snow blower in garage to clear driveway. No access to "heated ski storage" unless that meant the garage? Hot tub was there but there was no way to access with the snow and should have cleared before we arrived. Again, if there was a shovel I could have attempted to clear. I spoke to Ray numerous times @ World-class properties and with the storm they were slammed and couldn't help. My issue these are things that should have been addressed well before any storm arrived.
Sorry for the long dissertation I really want to make it better for the next guest which could be you.

Bathroom shower knobs and shower heads leaked the master bathroom leaked to the second floor. I don't think it was rented out for a while they just need to go in and tighten up the bathrooms and update the TVs and remotes

Didn't matter much because the temp outside was pretty cool while we were there. The property owner may want to address this. Also, one grouchy neighbor living below the house. Probably because we woke her up on a Sunday morning before 10am (but we were following the noise ordinance guidelines). I'd stay there again if ever back in the area and in need of a big place to stay.

The house was perfect as it was far enough away from the crowds, but still only a few minutes into Stateline and to Zephyr Cove. A great place for a weekend South Lake getaway!
